Forspoken has a pretty expansive open world with a good amount to experience, from collectibles to side quests and more. Within the world, you can also find Breakstorms, which will often have bosses for you to fight. One of these giant nightmare bosses is the Bandersnatch, an almost snake-like-looking entity born in the heart of a Breakstorm.

A Bandersnatch has a good selection of ways to attack Frey that makes it a challenge to fight, especially when you aren't expecting them. Of course, defeating a nightmare enemy like the Bandersnatch will reward you with some useful items.

Where To Find The Bandersnatch

Forspoken Bandersnatch Map Location

As mentioned, the nightmare boss Bandersnatch is born in the heart of a Breakstorm, and the one that you want to be looking for to encounter the boss fight will be to the southeast of the Mouldings, as shown on the map location above.

The Bandersnatch is over 57', so you shouldn't have too much trouble finding it when maneuvering around the area.

Bandersnatch Battle Strategy

Forspoken Bandersnatch Boss Fight

For the boss, the main moves that you need to look out for are the projectiles of pure energy that it can shoot out and its attack to summon other nightmares to help it in the fight, specifically Riven Wings and Riven Carcasses.

Make sure to kill the smaller nightmares that the Bandersnatch can summon, as they can overwhelm you if you aren't careful.

It can also dive into the ground and then jump out, which is an attack easy to dodge but will do a lot of damage if you get hit by it, so make sure that you are always paying attention throughout.

It doesn't have resilience to any form of magic, but it is weak to Ola's magic, which you should use as much as possible to optimize your damage.

When it comes to Ola's magic, Pulse Dart will be the most effective in damaging the boss, but you should switch to Storm Dart when dealing with the hoard of smaller nightmares.

Whilst Ola's magic is especially effective, here you are able to switch to other veins of magic and use other spells if it better suits your playstyle.

As the fight goes on and the Bandersnatch gets closer to death, it will start spawning more nightmares to help it.

At this stage in the fight, you can choose to kill the smaller enemies or just focus on the boss, as once it's killed, the other nightmares won't be able to harm you.
