British actress Ella Balinska, who is playing the protagonist of the upcoming Forspoken, has just dropped a tease for more news coming soon. It's a pretty safe guess that the open-world title will be shown during the recently-announced PlayStation event on September 9.

Ballinska added “Forspoken content pending” under her latest Instagram post, where the star shared a picture of herself. Though it’s not much, she also mentions the official account of the project. Beyond the game's first reveal trailer, there's not much Forspoken-related out there at the moment, although it looks like that's about to change if this post is to be believed.

Most recently we saw Forspoken in March when Square Enix officially announced the game’s current name instead of the first draft Project Athia. Back then, Balinska said, “it’s remarkable to see the incredible world and story of Forspoken come together, blurring the lines between reality and fantasy.”

With her recent post, Balinska is most likely teasing Frospoken’s presence at the next PS5 showcase, which will stream live on Thursday, September 9. According to Sony, the show should focus on a handful of upcoming games — particularly PlayStation exclusives. Considering Forspoken is expected to hit PC and PS5 exclusively sometime in 2022, it's a safe bet that the two will align.

Although the clue appears quite concrete, we still have no official confirmations of any kind. It’s also possible Square Enix will showcase the game during the Tokyo Game Show 2021 in late September, although its PlayStation exclusivity makes it more likely to show up at during this showcase.

Aside from Forspoken, there are plenty of other titles fans are eager to see during the next PS showcase — Deathloop, Kena: Bridge of Spirits, and probably Horizon: Forbidden West among them. We might even get a proper first look at the highly-anticipated God of War sequel, recently delayed to 2022 to become “the amazing [...] game that we all want to play."
