A new leak is hinting at a 50v50 “capture the flag”-style game mode coming to Fortnite for a limited time.

Fortnite is all about mayhem and carnage, and there’s nothing more chaotic than 100 people all duking it out for supremacy. But sometimes you need to organize and coordinate some massive team games so you can fully appreciate the insanity of a free-for-all.

Last year, Epic Games created a limited time 50v50 game mode where two teams of 50 players broke out into all-out warfare where only one team could emerge victoriously. That lasted until the middle of December before being retired, but it looks like a new 50v50 game mode might be right around the corner.

Discovered by Fortnite Leakage on Twitter, the new game mode will have something to do with a “Seize Pack” and a “Flag”. And just what kind of game requires you to siege an enemy team to acquire their flag? Capture the flag, of course.

Of course, we have no other details than these two words from a helpful data miner. We have no idea how the game mode might be implemented in Battle Royale, if team flags will be a random spawn or if there will be a designated team area. But we do know that capture the flag is an old standby to many an online game, and we’re confident that it will be just as amazing in Fortnite as it is in pretty much every other online shooter.

Also coming up in a future Fortnite patch is something called Disco Domination. This was announced in the in-game news broadcasts, so we didn’t need the help of a data miner to know of its existence, but a data miner might be useful to get a few more details on just what this game mode will entail.

“Capture and defend Dance Floors around the island using emotes to earn points,” is all we know about the game mode. We’re thinking it’s probably going to be similar to Domination or King of the Hill, but with emotes. And dancing. And what could be more fun than dancing?
