In a few days, Fortnite fans will have a unique experience as the Fracture event opens the way to something new. This also means that the Battle Pass will soon become unavailable and this is your last chance to collect as many rewards as you can before it's gone.
With the release of the Avian Ambush quest, you have the opportunity to win a bunch of extra XP. This is great for those that have already finished other quests but still have rewards they'd like to collect.
Avian Ambush Quests
Avian Ambush week is going to be live until November 29 at 9 AM ET. Once it comes to an end Bargain Bin week will take its place.
Each Avian Ambush quest is worth 20,000 XP, a fourth of a Battle Pass level. On top of that, you can also achieve bonus goals according to the number of quests you manage to complete.

For completing five and seven Avian Ambush quests you will receive an entire level as your reward - this amounts to about 80,000 XP. If you complete all quests and receive all bonus goal rewards, you will increase your season level by four and a half levels.
- Catch a chicken in different matches (3)
Chickens will spawn randomly all over the map, though they are most abundant in woody areas such as Fort Jonesy and surrounding Lustrous Lagoon. You will have to find chickens for this quest and the ones listed below.
- Hunt Glowing Loot chickens (20)
- Deal damage with a chicken peck (1)
You only need to deal a single health point of damage for this quest and it doesn't have to be inflicted on another player. The easiest way to do this is to grab a chicken and then look for a wolf. If the wolf attacks you, the chicken will peck it. Doing this with a wolf is easier than with a boar simply because boars can charge at you and push you back.
- Fall four stories while holding a chicken
Holding a chicken will make it so you're immune to fall damage. Once you've got a chicken, the ideal place to complete this quest would be Lustrous Lagoon, since you can jump from the mountain's edge down to the lagoon without having to build up or climb stairs inside a building. Alternatively, you can build your way up with some stairs or you could find a tall enough building.
- Return a chicken to a pen
These are the locations of the five existing chicken pens on the map. You will have to find a chicken, grab it, and successfully bring it back to its pen. The pen near Fort Jonesy is what you should aim for since this is a POI that tends to spawn chickens quite frequently due to the nature that surrounds it.
- Throw chickens (10)
- Travel while holding a chicken (300)
- Use a D-Launcher while holding a chicken
Just like a chicken will flap its wings and prevent you from suffering any fall damage, it causes an incredible boost when you hold it as you use a D-Launcher. This is pretty fun even if you're not doing it for the quest.
