Fortnite has had a number of impressive collaborations, including team-ups with Nerf, Marvel, and Monopoly. Now, Epic Games is rolling out the red carpet with Japanese musician Kenshi Yonezu, who will be performing at the video premiere of Fornite’s Party Royale game mode.

The video premiere is scheduled for August 7th during the following timeslots: 7:00 AM EDT, 1:00 PM EDT, and 7:00 PM EDT. Interested players are advised to show up 30 minutes early to the Party Royale’s main stage in order to secure their spot. Yonezu will be performing songs from his new album, STRAY SHEEP, as well as other fan favorites.

In addition to the video premiere, Epic Games is offering a little something-something to celebrate Fortnite’s collaboration with Yonezu. Players who log on to the game between August 6th at 8:00 PM EDT to August 7th at 8:00PM EDT will receive a free, commemorative Banner. The Banner is a technicolor stylization of STRAY SHEEP’s album cover, which was in turn illustrated by Yonezu himself.

This isn't the first time Fornite has collaborated with hit musicians--remember Marshmello? Players who are unable to make it to the broadcast or find that attendance has reached capacity are welcome to join any of the rebroadcast sessions. Streamers should also be aware that the video premier features audio content that may result in their videos being demonetized.

Yonezu is perhaps best known among his overseas audience for “Peace Sign”, My Hero Academia’s second anime opening. However, Yonezu has no shortage of chart-toppers. Anyone keeping track of the contemporary Japanese music scene will recognize “Lemon”, “Flamingo”, “Secret Base”, and more as some of Yonezu’s best hits. His 2015 album release Bremen won Best Album of the Year at the 60th Japan Record Awards, rocketing him to superstardom status.

STRAY SHEEP collects some of Yonezu’s previously released songs, such as “Uma to Shika”, “Teenage Riot”, the aforementioned “Flamingo” and “Lemon”, and “Paprika”. The album will also include nine new tracks. STRAY SHEEP is scheduled to be released on August 5th, meaning Fortnite’s Party Royale is quite possibly one of the first places to catch Yonezu showcasing his new album.
