To the surprise of absolutely no one, Fortnite's Tilted Towers has been destroyed yet again and doesn't appear as a point of interest on the new map for Chapter 4.

Without a doubt, the most well-known location in Fortnite history is Tilted Towers. Initally added during Fortnite's 2.0 patch, this infamously crowded point of interest is known for its high-level loot and near-constant firefights. It's also known for being destroyed, having been knocked down by meteors, The Cube, an earthquake, and a volcano.

It's become a bit of a running joke in the Fortnite community that Tilted Towers is one of the unluckiest buildings in the game and is bound to get destroyed and then make a comeback later in the Chapter. In fairness, Tilted has managed to stick around for a surprisingly long time over the last few seasons, becoming a bit of a permanent fixture of the Chapter 3 map, but Epic has clearly decided it's been around long enough, as it's been destroyed in Chapter 4.

During the Chapter 3 event Fracture, most of the Fortnite island, including Tilted Towers, gets destroyed by a large explosion. The Paradigm manages to use the Zero Point to collect some landmarks from the old island to add to the current map but, unfortunately, that doesn't include Tilted, as it's not a part of the Chapter 4 map. The clocktower does seem to have survived and makes a few appearances during the event, but the rest of the area seems to be gone.

There is some hope, however. As spotted by Twitter user FortTory, Tilted Towers' clocktower can be spotted in the Chapter 4 map. The clocktower can be found in the snowy section of the map, hidden in a large ice cave. It's just that one tower right now, but we'd bet money on the rest of tilted towers being stuck in that ice somehow. That, or it'll just end up being rebuilt or chucked on the map from the Zero Point for story reasons.
