Fortnite has officially kicked off the Cosmic Summer event, bringing a variety of Creative LTMs, quests, and rewards to the alien-invaded island. Cosmic Summer runs until July 5, so jump in and collect some free gear while you can.
Most of the rewards require you to check out the Creative LTMs – many of which are returning favorites. Bios Zone Wars Trio 1.0 - Custom Teams, Pro 100, Freaky Flights - Air Royale, and The Pit – FFA are all available during the Cosmic Summer event, and completing a variety of quests will reward you with the following cosmetics:
- Brain Freeze Back Bling
- Cloud Llama Board Glider
- Believer Beach Loading Screen
- Icy Pop Wrap
- Lil’ Treat Emote
No Fortnite event is complete without some new outfits, and the Cosmic Summer rounds out the offerings by giving Midas, Brutus, and more a summer makeover. Head over to the Item Shop and you’ll find Midsummer Midas, Scuba Crystal, Beach Jules, Summer Drift, Unpeely, and Beach Brutus – all of which are sporting their best beachwear.
Fortnite continues to pump out events on a nearly weekly basis, bringing the Macarena dance to players just a few days ago and offering a few different tournaments prior to that. The Cosmic Summer event should keep you busy in the early weeks of summer, and it'll be interesting to see how Epic evolves its game in the coming months.
Cosmic Summer is now live in Fortnite and runs until July 5.
