Fortnite has proven that it’ll cross over with pretty much anyone and anything, from Star Wars to Evil Dead to DC Comics. But a famous YouTuber’s virtual kitchen might just be the strangest crossover Fortnite has ever done.

As spotted by noted Fortnite leaker Hypex (courtesy of Twitter user @Kurgur3), Epic has revealed MrBeast Burger X Fortnite at the Fortnite Championship Series Invitational tournament. The name of the event also came with a display for what could very well turn out to be an in-game cosmetic associated with the crossover.

That cosmetic might also foretell a new item type that’s coming to Fortnite. Earlier this summer, data miners found references to weapon charms, a new cosmetic type that can be found in loads of other competitive shooters but has remained curiously absent in Fortnite. That little loop at the top of the MrBeast Burger mascot might be how it’ll hang from your favorite Fortnite gun when it eventually arrives in-game.

For those who haven't heard of MrBeast Burger, it's a virtual kitchen that sells fast food in MrBeast-branded packaging. The real selling point for MrBeast Burger appears to be brutal honesty. Unlike ads for most mainstream fast food places, MrBeast doesn't try to gussy-up his good with lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles that'll be hard to find in the actual product. What you get is a big greasy burger with french fries shoved between two buns, and that's it. Well, that and you get the MrBeast box, which you could theoretically keep if you're a truly die-hard MrBeast fan.

There are no actual MrBeast Burger locations--you order online and the burgers just sort of magically appear. Bonus for those who don’t want to spend their day waiting at a drive-thru.

No news yet on when this event might actually happen, but MrBeast Burger doesn’t seem to be going anywhere, so it could be announced at any time.
