Announced last week, Epic Games revealed that they will be hosting the ultimate Fortnite Party Royale, which is set to pair some of the world’s greatest athletes and entertainers with some of the best Fortnite Battle Royale players across the globe.

The two teams - which will consist of 50 celebrities and 50 pro gamers – will go head to head in the premier Fortnite Celebrity Pro-Am to claim the ultimate Victory Royale bragging rights.

While Epic Games has yet to provide any concrete details, we do know that the much-anticipated event will be hosted in Los Angeles during this year’s E3, with Epic Games beginning to build the teams over the coming weeks.

With the announcement coming just days after the popular Twitch Streamer Tyler “Ninja” Blevins played alongside the famous hip hop artists Drake and Travis Scott, and NFL star JuJu Smith-Schuster, many have started to question the legitimacy of the stream. With a record breaking 635,000 concurrent people watching live around the world, Blevins has since claimed that his stream with Drake was in no way a publicity stunt for the game or the upcoming Celebrity Pro-Am, but rather a coincidence as Drake had reached out to him weeks prior to the announcement.

Should this be the case though, Epic Games could not have revealed this announcement at any better time, as players are now more hyped than ever to watch their favorite celebrities battle it out in one of this generations biggest games to date.

But the question still remains, which celebrities can we expect to see participating at the Celebrity Pro-Am – an event that could arguably turn out to be the biggest event in gaming history. While Epic didn’t exactly clarify what they meant by celebrities, it is safe to assume that they are thinking big - bigger than just Twitch streamers and YouTube stars.

Thankfully though, fans have already started speculating which celebrities may very well be making an appearance at the event, as it’s no secret that over the past several months, more and more celebrities have been vocal – especially on Twitter - for not only their love for gaming, but also for Fortnite.

While nothing is currently official, here are some of the world’s biggest stars that could very well be making an appearance.

Drake, Travis Scott & JuJu Smith-Schuster: This one is no secret, as after Drake joined forces with Ninja, Travis Scott, and JuJu Smith-Schuster to break the record for most concurrent viewers for an individual steamer on Twitch, we can only expect that Epic Games will be working hard to secure the famous trio.

While Drake and Travis Scott haven’t exactly been known as gamers until recently, JuJu has been active member within the community for years and is even a member of the FaZe Clan. Revealing his addiction for Fortnite on Twitter, JuJu posted a short video of his portable setup that he even takes with him to the airport. Proving that music and football aren’t their only talents, don’t be surprised if we see their names appear on the celebrity guest list.

Logic: During the infamous Drake and Ninja stream, Logic – aka Bobby Tarantino –wanted in on the action by going as far as to call out Drake by challenging him on Twitter stating “Drizzy don’t want it with Bobby!”. Given that Logic is well known for his love of gaming - he used to post gaming content to his YouTube channel – I wouldn’t be surprised if we saw his name amongst the list.

Josh Hart: When it comes to Fortnite dedication, there is no denying that Josh Hart – a Rookie for the LA Lakers– is a die-hard fan of the game, as the NBA star owns some of the coolest shoes we have ever seen! Hart can often be seen rocking a pair of fully customized Fortnite sneakers, that even display his own in-game name. With his NBA status and brand-new Twitch channel, it would only make sense that Hart sees an invitation to the event.

Finn Wolfhard: One of the biggest rising child stars of 2017, Finn Wolfhard has become quite the household name thanks to the success of his Netflix Original series, Stranger Things. However, much like any other teenager his age, Wolfhard loves videogames – especially Fortnite. Having launched his very own Twitch channel, the young teen can often be found streaming Fortnite when he isn’t busy.

Post Malone: Arguably one of the biggest hip-hop artists at the time of writing this, Post Malone is well known for his love of gaming – especially PUBG. Having started a Twitch channel in December 2017, Malone has since amused over 400,000 followers and can often be found streaming the likes of Call of Duty: WW2 and PUBG. Despite claiming that “PUBG is still better”, I believe that Malone would be more than willing set aside his differences, as the star has proven that he isn’t half that bad at gaming.

That’s not all though, as a number of celebrity over the past several months have also shared their passion for Fortnite, such as Gordon Hayward, Kyle Long, lil Yatchy, Chandler Riggs, Chance the Rapper, and even Roseanne Barr – who claims to hold at least 20 Victory Royale wins..

While it is only speculated that these celebrities may possibly compete in the Pro-Am, there is no denying that this event has the potential will go down in gaming history, especially if Epic can manage to pull in such a wide variety of different stars.

I’m even willing to bet that after their highly publicized appearance on Ninja’s stream, that there is no doubt – should their schedules permit - that we will be seeing the likes of Drake, Travis Scott, and JuJu Smith-Schuster making yet another appearance in game.
