Every week there is a new Fortnite update. Typically, these updates add more skins to the game and sometimes some stat changes are made. This week, however, we got more content than usual. Update v16.40 added a bunch of content. It brought new weapons, a new NPC and there's even a new landmark.
You can expect to see Beast Boy in the game this week, as well as a Teen Titans Cup soon. As part of this Cup, fans will have the chance to earn exclusive cosmetic items. So be sure to keep an eye out for the tournament and the Beast Boy set.
But this wasn't the only thing added recently. There is a new character in the game. Her name is Orelia and she's connected to a familiar Fortnite character, Oro. According to Epic Games, back in Season 2, Chapter 2, Orelia took the throne with Oro and she is now ready to make an appearance on the island.
So, if she's on the island, where exactly is she? Keep reading and we'll let you know exactly where you can go to find her.
Orelia's Location
With Orelia's arrival, there was something else that appeared in the game. An addition to the island. There is a new landmark and it's called Isla Nublada. It mysteriously rose above the water.
It is on the southern end of the island. It is directly south of Flushed Building, where Flushed Factory used to be. To find Orelia in Fortnite, you have to go to Isla Nublada. She can only be found on this island.
Once you arrive, enter the castle ruins. She will be on the lower floor, right next to a pedestal. It is also guaranteed that a Legendary Mechanical Assault Rifle will spawn on the pedestal.
How To Pay Tribute
You can take Orelia's Legendary Assault Rifle without her permission, she will, however, attack you immediately. If you do this, you can then either run away or attempt to defeat her. Just be warned that she is carrying the new Mythical Spire Guardian's Primal Assault Rifle, which is quite powerful.
To avoid this entirely you can simply pay tribute and take it from her for the price of 750 gold bars, this way you won't be attacked. You can pay tribute by doing as follows:
- Land at Isla Nublada
- Approach the pedestal
- Press and hold the interact button that says 'Pay Tribute, 750 Bars'
Don't forget to interact with the NPC as well so you can register Orelia as a Character and complete your Collections. She only has the 'talk' interaction and if you do this she will merely ask you for a tribute. And, like any other NPC, she will give you an item the first time you speak to her.
Since it's a new location, everyone is landing near Isla Nublada so for now it is a hot spot and needs to be approached carefully. Especially since there aren't many resources or loot.
