Fortnite has crossed over with so many other games, movies, and shows at this point, it's impressive Epic keeps churning out new and interesting collaborations. A new Fortnite first will actually be live by the time you read this. A Rocket League car that drives just like it would in the game from whence it came has arrived on the island via this week's v22.10 update.

Well, technically it hasn't arrived on the island. While the Octane, probably the vehicle most synonymous with Rocket League, hasn't been added to Fortnite's BR mode just yet, it is now available through Fortnite Creative. All of the details on how exactly the Octane will work within Fortnite's world, and how you can try it out for yourself, have been outlined via a new post from Epic.

The breakdown includes how exactly you can perform all of the signature Rocket League moves in the Octane Spawner, and for more visual learners there's a tutorial. Just enter the code 7808-4434-5127 in Creative to learn exactly how to use the new vehicle in Fortnite. You'll be able to double jump, air roll, and there will even be boost pads you can place around your island to replenish your tank.

The only caveat is that the Octane Spawner can't be modified. So no off-road tires or Cow Catchers for your new toy. There's also the added catch that it hasn't been added to other Fortnite modes, although dataminers have found evidence that might change in the future. iFireMonkey pointed to a vehicle codenamed Goofball that may well be the Octane, although the reveal that the Rocket League car is actually codenamed Rock now the update has gone live may have squashed that theory.

Elsewhere in Fortnite's far-reaching world, Epic announced its Halloween event Fortnitemares will return later this month. You can also get a free goat-themed skin if you pre-order Goat Simulator 3 through the Epic Games Store.
