20 Ready For Jurassic Park?

So, no crazy battle royale would be complete without the looming threat of monsters. Just when you thought it was safe to roam around the map without a care in the world, it looks as if things are about to get interesting. Fans have noticed that a research facility has been finished in Dusty Divot. There are some weird goings-on as the building looks like it is housing something serious. When players enter this area, it seems as if someone is running tests and studies on various materials. The most interesting of them all is that players can go in to see a huge rock pulsating.

If we start to see those iconic jeeps from the movie...then its official. 

The secret is that it…it could be a dinosaur egg, as players have found dinosaur footprints lingering around the area. How utterly cool would that be? We can see it now: a homage to Jurassic Park, a character made to look like Chris Pratt’s from the series, and the iconic music lingering throughout the game. Maybe the meteorites that players are seeing are connected with why we have not seen these creatures up close. However, that could be changing if the rock turns out to be an egg. We are on the edge of our seat.

19 Whose HQ Is This

We all know this to be true. No superhero is complete without a headquarters. Where would Batman be without the Batcave? It outlines their personality while giving them a place to do detailed monologues. Either way, it is just as much a part of their identity as their masks or costumes. This is why players were pretty perplexed when they went into the basement of one of the mansions and saw something that looked a little out of place. If players go to Lonely Lodge, they can go to the bottom area to find what seems to be a superhero’s HQ. There is a mask, emblem, and jet.

Is Fortnite going to have someone fighting for justice soon? Will players be fighting alongside a new superhero or someone who we have come to know and love? Again, these developers are hitting it out of the park with these easter eggs. While the clues are neat, it could just be a red herring to throw players off, but what if it is something even more than this? With the past Infinity Stone mode that players came to know, could this be an extension of this? We will all have to stay tuned.

18 Get The Hidden Battle Tier

There are a lot of hidden rewards, messages, and challenges in this game. While it may seem like a drag to have to wade through easter eggs, loading screens, and hidden messages, half the fun is making the journey. The map is so expansive that it is not unlikely for players to entirely miss out on a lot of opportunities. Well, we are here to help you find some of these and take advantage of them. Once players complete all the challenges for this new season, they will get a loading screen with a secret message. Players need to pay careful attention to all the details on this screen as there a few things players can glean from it.

This entry will focus on an actual map location. On a building that is on the loading screen, there are coordinates scribbled on the wall behind the Omega skin. If players go to this location, they can pick up a star and a secret reward. We don’t want to spoil it for you, but from what we hear it is pretty rad. Developers are not only adding new items, but they are creating some fun challenges attached to finding them. Kudos to them!

17 Some Silent Hill Action

Alright, so most of us know that Silent Hill is one of the scariest gaming franchises of all time. Not much can come close to it. However, other games have seemingly used elements from the franchise to impart their own creepiness to gamers. What makes some of these instances even scarier is that it is occurring in a seemingly innocent setting. Players are not prepared for the creepiness, so the situation can also increase feelings of fear. This happened with a new location in Fortnite. If players want to really be spooked, they can go to Anarchy Acres after the descent from the Battle Bus.

If they look for a patch of dirt between two hills, they will see a circle of empty chairs with a scarecrow and teddy bear overlooking a chest. What in the world happened here? Were there children? Is there more to the story? Are there spirits inhabiting the chairs, and they just cannot be seen? There is a background to this, but the actual happenings are as good of a guess as anything else. All we know is that maybe we need to keep the light on when we play Fortnite from now on.

16 The Gift Of The Autobot

Fortnite is a treasure trove for lovers of geekdom, fantasy, and games. The developers packed as many callouts to other franchises as they could fit. What makes instances like these unique in this game is that it could just be an innocent Easter egg that has nothing to do with the rest of the game. However, it could also become a significant plot point that impacts the story in some way. Who knows? The fun is figuring out which holds true for the occurrence. This entry is likely just an Easter egg that fans can enjoy.

Now, if this thing only had of started moving on its own...

Players can go to Retail Row and stumble upon a robot made of cars. For those who thought this might look a little familiar, they were right to think of the Transformers immediately. It isn’t as sharp looking as an Optimus Prime, but it does the trick in reminding the player of the franchise. Fortunately enough, this guy did not come empty-handed. This is not just something cool to look at, if players climb to the top of its head, a chest will spawn. How nice is that? A cool reference along with some valuable loot. The developers of this game are going for the gold.

15 Fly Along With Anti-Gravity

If there is one thing anyone can say about Fortnite, it is that this game is always evolving. Many probably thought this game was just another PUBG clone, but it has proven to step out of the shadow of this other game to show that it can carve an audience of its own. We cannot deny that we are very impressed. One thing that sets it apart from PUBG is its zaniness. This game is weird, and every season makes the game get even a little more resigned from reality. However, this is what makes the game what it is, a lighter alternative to the desert wastelands of PUBG.

Proving our argument about the zaniness, Fortnite has taken on this new space-themed story, and players can benefit from some of the new additions. The new map is covered with craters from meteors. Many of these craters house an anti-gravity jump pick up, which allows players to ascend into the air using anti-gravity. Players can get the jump on others with this, and even climb to higher heights they may not have been able to reach before. The power is temporary, but it is another helpful resource to have in the arsenal.

14 A Villain’s Lair

Well, we did set this one up earlier. If there is a superhero headquarters, it will make sense that a villain lair would be lurking around nearby. While there is a hero lair, in Snobby Shores there is a mansion that houses a villain lair which is everything players need to take over the world. This thing is tricked out with a massive missile launcher and observation deck. Even Dr. Evil would be drooling at the thought of having this thing. There are some other goodies located throughout various parts of this location, but we are stumped about what this could mean for the future of the series.

Is it us, or is the villain's lair nicer than the superheroes'? 

Is this just for some nice decoration, or is there more to the story? Is this a prediction that a battle between a hero and villain is about to take place? Did something happen between seasons three and four that might be addressed later? Did these individuals team up to take on the dinosaurs? There are so many questions, and not nearly enough answers, but this is what makes Fortnite one of the most entertaining games out there. You never know when something that seems like it “isn’t that big of a deal,” will come out to be a significant piece of the story.

13 Why So Many Underground Rooms?

Again, as the mystery is just as much a part of this game, secret hideouts and rooms are a pretty significant part as well. There are so many areas to find, and players can be sure that these areas will also have goodies for those who are dedicated enough to search them out. Thus, individuals should already be aware that if some new mansions and buildings are introduced there are going to be some secret areas that players can begin to explore. Fortnite has something up its sleeve.

This secret area is a bit different. It is not housing any chests, but it also does not seem to allow players to even go inside of it. If players go to Salty Springs and they descend into the basement, they can look through a hole and see a hidden room. What is this for? This seems a bit spooky as it is pretty weird to have a random place that does not seem to have a purpose. Again, there are a lot of details about this game that brings the mystery and have fans wondering what is happening next. Maybe someone will be able to find their way into the area at some point.

12 Bomb Your Way Out

If all else fails, you can take the Rambo approach and bomb your way out. Think about it, where else can you use a grenade to blow your way to safety? Only in a zany game like Fortnite. This time, instead of waiting too long you have a sliver of hope, a chance to escape. However, you are still too close to make a run for it. What other way to make a memorable escape than to use your weapons to head for the hills? Players can throw impulse grenades down toward themselves or teammates to propel them out of the storm’s path a lot faster.

What else makes Fortnite an excellent game is the fact that players have multiple ways they can accomplish a task. There is no one right way to handle something. If you want to drink some slurp juice, you can, but if you want to blow yourself out of harm’s way, players can do that as well. This is one of the ways that players have the opportunity to put their critical thinking hat on to solve a problem. See, this game is even sharpening the strategic skills of players. Use this as an excuse when your spouse or family member tells you to take a break from it.

11 Help A Player Out

While you can get your game on solo, players can also form teams to tackle the challenges and missions of Fortnite. You may decide to take your teammate on an adventure through the map. Unfortunately, they did not make the best decision and made the idiotic choice to run through a nearby home. Someone was waiting right there to snipe him or her. You feel that it serves them right as they decided to make a foolish decision. However, you are not a horrible friend, and you want to help them out. A storm is also coming so you need to act quickly. How can you get your friend out of harm’s way?

They will forever be indebted to you after this. 

Well, you can use an unconventional approach to save the day. A method to help your teammates out is to send a guided missile their way. Players can then pick them up and steer them away from the storm. This is a great idea if a player is damaged for any reason. Now, you can hold this over your friend’s head so they can return the favor. Because if the craziness of Fortnite is and indicator, you will likely need for them to do the same for you at some point.

10 Take A Voyage To Risky Reels

The season four changes that have come to this game are just as weird as we would have thought them to be. Trailers for the game revealed one of the characters looking up toward the night sky and seeing the meteors blast through a drive-in movie theater. It seems the world is almost ending as the scene plays out. What in the world is going on here? Well, you have the opportunity to go to the location where this took place to see what happened. If players go to Risky Reels to take a look at the drive-in movie theater that was destroyed by the meteorite.

There, players can also find a Fortnite letter to complete the spelling challenge, and also investigate the area for chests and other goodies. There has to be more significance to this place than meets the eye as it is featured explicitly in the video game trailer. It is possible that the mysteries that surround Risky Reels are still waiting to be uncovered. If anyone can figure out what really occurred at this place, it is the fans of Fortnite. Seriously though, what does this world need with a drive-in movie theater? Inquiring minds would like to know.

9 An Abandoned Ice Cream Truck?

So, before we even get started on this entry, we want to know why an ice cream truck would also be needed in Fortnite? Were there children here at one point? Did the players stop their battling to sit down and enjoy a bowl of ice cream? We have so many questions about this, but like any odd thing going on in this game, we know we will likely not receive any answers. Getting down to the nitty gritty, an ice cream truck was found. In a far side of the map, there is an abandoned ice cream truck that is half-buried in the ground. No one knows why it is there, or how it got there.

All we know is that we want some Rocky Road!

Maybe it was during the meteor onslaught or a dinosaur attack, but we have no way of truly knowing. Anywho, players have traveled to this location to try and hit it for rewards, but it has 100,000 health and will get players eliminated before they can take it down. Many are wondering if it is a troll. Recently, some videos have emerged of a select few taking down the ice cream truck and gaining some sweet goodies. Maybe more people should jump as they try to mine this thing.

8 Get To Clubbin’

So, there is a new hotspot in town! Groovy players who like to get their dance on should check out the latest party place in Fortnite! There is a new nightclub on the southwest portion of the map near Flush Factory. It has a disco ball, funky colored flooring, and DJ booth. Fortnite has added a lot of new emotes and dance moves players can take advantage of. It seems the developers are acknowledging this by adding this nightclub for players to take photos of themselves going at it. However, no location is ever just what it seems.

Places that look like they are just for fun can always be used for another purpose. Savvy players will go into things knowing this. This location is no different than the others. While this is a fun little Easter egg, a player can also mine all the cushy chairs with a single blow for materials. Players can grab a nice amount of metal from these chairs. So other than just using this location to make some funny dance videos, players can grab some excellent resources. Gotta love Fortnite. The developers always try to make every place worthwhile for the players.

7 Easily Grab Metal

Specific resources are hard to come by in this game. Wood is everywhere, but sturdier materials are a little more challenging to find. Unlike PUBG, building structures that can quickly block an enemy onslaught in a pinch is one of the defining features of this game. While wood can help a great deal, players can use some good metal to defend themselves. The only problem is…other than homes where players can find the materials they need? We did mention the club chairs above, but what if someone beat you to the punch and got there first?

Well...obviously a dance battle would ensue. 

There is another location that players can exploit in the game. Remember all those chaotic meteors we spoke about earlier, well they created craters all over the map. Near the craters, players can quickly grab the metal on the outskirts of the craters. Two nice advantages come with this. Players can more easily catch sturdier material they need while players can also more easily mind this material with one blow. A nice change from something that used to be a lot more difficult. So, have at it, and pay attention to where the craters are you can grab some excellent metal from them.

6 Have Fun Hanging Around

For some reason, there are a lot of trucks in precarious scenarios around the map. Either a truck is being used as a pseudo-Transformers model, or a situation like this occurs. Players can go to the northeast side of the map near the wailing woods off the edge of a cliff. Players should then see a huge truck hanging off the edge, and the reward is a massive chest of loot. First, we want to know how this happened. What makes this even weirder is that the truck is hanging off the cliff by the front car.

This means that someone was backing off of the cliff. Why would they have been doing this? This can be put in the file of endless things that have occurred in this game that are weird but seemingly have no back story. While players can clean up here, they also have to be careful, as they can easily fall off the truck to their demise. No one said Fortnite was without its risks, so players have to be ready to put their necks out for some nice loot. This is probably a place that players want to hit first as they are getting off the bus.
