One of the latest Fortnite challenges requires players to dance in front of hidden gargoyles, and here's where you can find them all.

It may still be a week until Halloween, but things have been getting pretty spooky on Fortnite for a while. You could argue that the creepy season began on Fortnite Island as far back as when the giant purple cube first arrived on the map. Whether you're with us in that belief or not, the Halloween-theme has certainly been ramped up over the past couple of weeks.

Various skins and outfits have been hitting the Fortnite store that are very much in keeping with Halloween, including the return of Skull Trooper. This week's update has also brought some spooky happenings along with it. For starters, the theme of the update has been labeled Fortnitemares. Here's how to complete one of this week's creepy challenges.

The challenge we are referring to, of course, is the gargoyle one. The masterminds behind the weekly challenges at Epic Games love nothing more than making players scamper around Fortnite Island looking for places they have to dance. That's exactly what we're all looking to do as bullets are raining down on us in the middle of Tilted Towers, right?

This time it isn't street light spotlights, but gargoyles. Seven gargoyles have popped up all over Fortnite's map and the challenge is to dance next to five of them. If you're having trouble finding five of those gargoyles, we have you covered courtesy of Gamespot. The map above shows you where you can find all seven of the creepy statues. Just pick out the five that suit you best, whether they be on your flight path or far away from the incoming storm.

Providing the storm circle is kind to you, those four gargoyles in the northern half of the map could all be found in the space of one round. Be strategic about it, of course, since many of your rivals may have already completed the challenge or simply aren't interested in doing so. Either way, try to get it done before Halloween, as by then Fortnite will have dropped a fresh batch of challenges for us to try and complete.
