Season 3 of Fortnite has brought vaults along with it. Here's where to find the keycard to the vault at The Fortilla and how to track down the subsequent vault.

Season 3 of Fortnite has brought with it more changes than players can shake a stick at. Turns out flooding an island via summoning a literal wall of water will do that to a game. Sharks that can be eliminated or ridden are circling the shore, brand new named locations replacing the ones that now sit beneath the waves, and even an idea that appears to have been stolen from Warzone.

Last month, Infinity Ward introduced Bunkers to Warzone. Buildings containing a boatload of items that can only be accessed by players who have the corresponding keycard. Epic appears to have liked the idea so much that it has added a similar premise to Fortnite. They're called vaults and also need keycards in order for players to gain access.

One of the vaults can be found in one of the aforementioned new named locations, The Fortilla. The Fortilla is a group of islands in the south-west corner of the map that looks a little bit like a floating shantytown. One of Season 3's bosses, Ocean, calls The Fortilla home. Players will need to defeat her before searching out the vault.

That's because once Ocean has been defeated, she will drop the keycard needed to access the vault. Ocean does move around a bit, so she might be tricky to find, but she will always be lurking somewhere near The Fortilla. Once defeated, the keycard isn't the only thing Ocean will drop. The defeated boss will also hand over her special Assault Rifle, and a Bottomless Chug Jug.

When using the newly obtained keycard, an arrow will appear directing its holder to the vault. Once inside, the lucky player will find all sorts of loot, including items that have previously been vaulted from the game, which makes a lot of sense. There are other vaults to be found around the map, including another at Catty Corner which will require the elimination of a different boss, Kit, to gain access.
