Epic Games has officially confirmed that John Wick will be joining Fortnite in a new trailer that pits the character against The Reaper. The event, which is called Wick’s Bounty, is now live in-game.

It appears that the theme of the High Table is front and center in the upcoming event, which will focus on offering up bounties against players holding the golden coins from the series.

New cosmetics are available through a combination of purchases in-game and through the event itself. There is a John Wick skin and a battle-damaged variant that can be purchased for 2,000 V-Bucks. This includes the Assassin Pack back bling, which is a duffel bag full of guns. Some items from the first movie, such as the Simple Sledge, a harvesting tool that can be bought for 500 V-Bucks, and an emote called "Bulletproof" are also available. A second emote titled “Be seeing you” has also been added, though it is likely from the second film. Both emotes cost 200 V-Bucks each. Finally, a wrap called “Assassin” is available for 300 V-Bucks.

Three more cosmetic items can be earned in the event. Players who complete any five challenges will be awarded the Gold Token back bling, while players who win a match of Wick’s Bounty will receive a black umbrella glider similar to those given for winning regular matches in Battle Royal. Also, players are given a common wrap called "Boogeyman” for simply playing five matches.

As theorized previously, the addition of the Continental Hotel in the LTM means that weapons must be packed away, as no business can be conducted on its grounds. This means that most players are snagging a few quick kills and then camping out in the safety of the hotel right now. Hopefully, a patch will soon be introduced to deal with this, which might introduce an automatic timer to force players to leave and engage with others.

Fortnite's Wick's Bounty event is live now until May 21.
