Fortnite's v13.40 is now live. Here's all of the cosmetic items added that have been discovered by the game's dedicated data miners.

The v13.40 update went live on Fortnite this week and it's a big one. It brings with it the Coral Castle POI, finally confirming the long-rumored arrival of Atalantis, a new Summer Splash LTM, and, most exciting of all, the Joy Ride update. As the name implies, the update has made Fortnite's cars drivable, so we're expecting less building and more driving on the island in the coming days and weeks.

All of the above is more than enough for most Fortnite players to get their teeth stuck into. However, others are already looking ahead. Delving into Fortnite's code in an attempt to discover what's coming next. The likes of Lucas7Yoshi has done that and discovered which cosmetic items will arrive in the game's store over the next few weeks.

As can be seen above, there's a lot to come, providing all of these items make it to the store. Skin and backbling highlights include the Castaway Jonesy skin, making its long-awaited return, and the Moon Jelly backbling. The Neon Backboard has also caught our eye as we love the thought of traversing the island with a hoop for our Squad buddies to shoot into.

There are no fewer than 16 new and returning pickaxes coming to the Fortnite store via this update too. While the Pom Pummelers are most definitely on our wishlist, nothing in this arena has us more excited than the arrival of the Hulk Smasher pickaxe. Hulk hands that players can use to tear apart Fortnite's landscape. Money can't buy these hands or their variant, and for now, they will only be available to people who play the Marvel's Avengers beta.

Last but not least, players looking for a new wrap or emote should be on the lookout for the ones above, of which there will be four of each. The Rainbow Rodeo wrap might not work well as camouflage, but you can bet your bottom V-Buck that we'll be shelling out for it. The Switch-Up track and Metal Team Leader loading screen will also be arriving at some point soon.
