It wouldn't be a Fortnite update if its loyal fans didn't complain about it, would it? Here's the latest on what has got the game's players seething.

Complaints about Fortnite updates are coming so frequently that we might as well make it a weekly feature here at TheGamer. For the majority of Season X, the complaints have been about the addition of B.R.U.T.E.s. These are giant, player-controlled mechs that are so overpowered that you might as well drop your controller and go grab yourself a drink if you're faced with one.

Despite the loudest voices in the Fortnite community demanding Epic nerf the mechs, the pleas have largely been ignored. Honestly, there's sort of a good reason for not nerfing them too, as was offered up by Epic. The developers' aim is to make everyone feel included and to still appeal to those who are new to the game. Epic's argument is that a new player in a B.R.U.T.E. is more likely to become a long-term player/customer after racking up a few easy eliminations early on in their Fortnite careers.

If you're a Fortnite veteran and don't need such handicaps, you might want to look away now. This is due to the fact that this week's update once again favors the fresh-faced Fortnite fan rather than the grizzled veteran. The game's turbo build function has been seriously nerfed. Turbo build allows players to place and build structures incredibly quickly.

If that's one of your go-tos, your Fortnite strategy may now need to be remodeled. The latest update has altered the time between turbo build placements from 0.05 seconds to 0.15 seconds. A tenth of a second might not sound like much, but with the storm closing in and bullets raining down, the last thing you'll need is your building ability to be three times slower than usual.

Ninja has unsurprisingly been leading the charge on social media when it comes to complaining, as you can see above. He is far from alone, and as you will also see from his tweet, the latest update has got players riled up about the mechs all over again.

After being nerfed earlier this week, the B.R.U.T.E. has been made slightly stronger again. Its missile radius has been returned to normal, and its HP bumped from 1000 to 1250.
