Fortnite's latest update is live and with it comes the game's highly-anticipated Naruto collaboration. Naruto fans first thought their beloved anime would be getting the Fortnite treatment when dataminers discovered something codenamed headband in the game's files. Turns out they were right to believe that, as last week Epic confirmed a crossover was coming.

In typical Fortnite fashion, you didn't have too long to wait between the collaboration's confirmation and its arrival. Naruto and all of the stuff he has brought along with him is available in-game now. That includes three new skins, which is a lot right off the bat for a brand new crossover. Naruto, of course, and also Sasuke Uchiha, Sakura Haruno.

You can check out Naruto's arrival in Fortnite via the trailer below. The protagonist is about to enjoy a big bowl of ramen with his friends when a cube monster rudely interrupts. Naruto duplicates himself multiple times, letting those others versions of himself, alongside the other crossover characters entering The Loop, fight off the monster while he gets back to his meal.

As well as the three new skins available right now via the in-game store, a fourth Naruto character has also been added to the island as an NPC. Kakashi Hatake, who is also featured in the trailer, will be added to the island as an NPC. As is the case with all the other NPCs on the island right now, you can talk to Kakashi in order to receive quests. You can also find a new Naruto-themed weapon, a throwable paper bomb kunai. Very few collabs get their own weapon, which just goes to show how important this particular crossover is to Epic.

There's plenty more included in the Naruto crossover too. The usual stuff such as a glider, emotes, and loading screens. Two of each for those last two. Everything listed above is available right now through Fortnite's in-game store, and Kakashi is ready and waiting to give you quests on the island. It's unclear whether this will be a one and done type deal for the Naruto crossover. Considering the effort and the hype surrounding it, there could well be more to come.
