Players are expected to find all eight letters that spell "Fortnite" throughout Chapter 2: Season 1. Here's how to get your hands on the "O."
Fortnite Chapter 2 is in full swing and, for many players, what will now forever be referred to as Chapter 1 is already a distant memory. It might be hard to believe, but for some very new players, Chapter 2 is all they know. Yes, even though it feels as if everyone in the world has played Fortnite at least once by now, that is not actually the case - at least not yet.
A lot has changed down on Fortnite Island. Players can swim, fish, and hide in dumpsters. It's wild. The way in which players level up and unlock items has been tweaked too. Most notably, in order to get our hands on the Season 1 skin, we need to collect all eight letters of "Fortnite" as opposed to Battle Stars.
Those letters won't come easy though, and only two of them are currently available. If you're struggling to track down the O, let us give you a hand.
First of all, you'll need to have completed at least eight of the recently unlocked Open Water Challenges. Once eight of them are done and dusted, players will unlock the loading screen pictured above.
The "O" is hidden within that loading screen, believe it or not, within the decking underneath the Fishsticks Restaurant. For those of you still unfamiliar with the new map, Fishsticks is situated right at the top of the map in Craggy Cliffs. Before you try and skip that all-important first step, players should know that the "O" will not show itself until eight of those Open Water Challenges have been completed. Try and find it before doing that and you're going to be bitterly disappointed, and you'll have also wasted time you could have spent completing the challenges you need to get done to reveal the "O."
