A Fortnite player got close enough to a Respawn Van glitch to discover that players will require a "reboot card" in order to use them.

During the seventh season of Fortnite, an unexpected rival emerged to challenge for the crown of undisputed king of the battle royale genre: Apex Legendswhich provided a fresh take on the genre for those who are getting fed up of Fortnite. It's not that Epic hadn't been making changes before, but it definitely forced the developers to up the game somewhat to remain atop the pile.

One of the key differences between Fortnite and Apex was the ability to respawn in the latter, a mechanic not typically included in battle royale games. If a member of your team is killed in Apex, you can grab their respawn beacon and take it to a station in order to bring them back to life. Shortly after Apex's release, Epic revealed on Reddit that it would be introducing its own respawn system.

Since then, respawn vans have been manifesting themselves to some players in Fortnite thanks to a glitch. However, one Redditor recently got a closer look than ever at one of the vans thanks to their poor internet connection. As you can see below, -FortniteTryHard- got so close that they discovered what you'll need to use the vans: a Reboot Card.

It seems like a given that a Reboot Card is the Fortnite equivalent of Apex's respawn beacon. However, what players don't know is how we'll be able to get our hands on one of these cards. Some players think it will be identical to the Apex system and will be dropped upon elimination. However, others think they will be items you find in chests, which means that you can only revive a squad member if you have one in your loadout.

Although a respawn system feels as if it goes against the very premise of a battle royale style game, those of you who have played Apex will know it works extremely well. If you're playing with friends, once you're eliminated, you simply have to sit and watch while the rest of your team plays out the round. With a respawn system in place, there will be every chance of you being reintroduced a little later on in the game.
