Week four of Fortnite Season X has officially begun which means new challenges are available. Plus, there's a brand new Battle Star to track down.
If you used to play Fortnite and have taken a break for a few seasons, suffice to say the game is incredibly different from the one you left behind. Not only aesthetically, but also some of the game's mechanics. Challenges, for example. It's no longer as simple as completing them like you're checking items off a shopping list.
There are now prestige challenges to complete, and also Battle Stars to find. The Battle Stars can be particularly tricky to track down as you effectively have to solve a riddle to figure out where they are. You also have to have completed at least three challenges from any given week before the star will reveal itself to you.
We're here to help you find week four's Battle Star. First, you'll need to unlock the loading screen pictured above by completing three of the week's challenges. If you don't, you will not unlock the star. Once you have done so, you can use the clue in the loading screen to find where the star is situated. Can't see it? It's on the piece of wood sticking out the floor.
Those letters and numbers are coordinates (I2, I3, J2, and J3) and mark a spot slightly east of Sunny Steps on the Fortnite map. If you're still struggling to find exactly where the star is, Fortnite Events is on hand in the video below to show you exactly where to find it. If you can't find it with the help of the video, then perhaps you need to double-check that you have completed enough challenges for the star to have become visible.
Epic has actually received a little criticism for the difficulty surrounding some of its challenges this season. However, that has been massively overshadowed by the controversy surrounding the game's B.R.U.T.Es. Thankfully, while you're hunting down this week's Battle Star, you should be far from anyone piloting one of those pesky and terrifying mechs. Don't take our word for it, though.
