Tfue has qualified for this summer's Fortnite World Cup, but his drunken celebration was but short by his girlfriend, Corinna Kopf.

The Fortnite World Cup is fast approaching. It is the biggest tournament in not only the battle royale game's short history, but also in the history of video games and esports in general. Qualifiers for the tournament are going on as we speak and some players have already booked their spot in New York City this July.

You might think that some of the more familiar faces qualifying for the prestigious tournament are a foregone conclusion. However, that is not necessarily the case. Most of Fortnite's professional players are still peeved at the changes that have been made to the game recently - changes that aim to please the many and not the few. There is no doubt that the timing of these changes is what has annoyed streamers the most.

Turner "Tfue" Tenney can now sit back and relax until July 26, as he qualified for the World Cup this week, reports Dexerto. The pro Fortnite player went about celebrating in style too. Tfue proceeded to slide out of his ground-floor window following confirmation of his qualification where family and friends were waiting to spray him with champagne. He also streamed the entire thing, naturally.

After grabbing a couple of the bottles of champagne and proceeding to chug them, Tfue started to get a little tipsy. He continued to thank his fans and announced donations, but eventually, his girlfriend Corinna Kopf stepped in to shut things down. Tfue claimed he wasn't drunk, but Kopf was having none of it. The Instagram model went on a rant littered with profanity before forcing Tfue to eventually end the stream.

Tfue won't care that the celebrations were cut short, though. After sobering up and maybe taking a nap, he was able to revel in the fact that he will be competing at Fortnite's first ever World Cup. Not only is that an amazing achievement in itself, but the prize pool for the tournament is a cool $30 million. Chances are Tfue will be making a significant chunk of change come July, no matter how well he does in the tournament.
