Fortnite is working in conjunction with Simon Malls to put on a tournament with a grand prize of a $50,000 shopping spree, and anyone can enter.

Although it might feel as if interest in Fortnite has dipped a little, the success it enjoyed via its first-ever World Cup this past summer would beg to differ. Not only did the tournament accumulate more than 80 million viewing hours across Twitch, YouTube, and other platforms, but players found it difficult to criticize anything about its set up, which was quite the feat if you know anything about Fortnite fans.

While it doesn't boast the prize money of the World Cup, Fortnite has revealed that it is working with Simon Malls to bring players another chance to show off their competitive edge. This time, the grand prize will be a $50,000 shopping spree. Sixty four people will compete in the finals in Las Vegas on November 23, 2019, but anyone can enter for the chance to make the cut.

The easiest way to enter is online, and here's how you do that. First of all, players will need to head to the Simon Cup website and register. Don't forget to have your Epic ID handy when you do so. You'll then need to register for the tournament by entering your code. To get a code, players will need to watch live streams and follow the channels of certain FaZe clan members.

All players will need to do then is play. Compete in online ladders as much as possible for a chance to be in those top spots. That's not the only way in which players can qualify, though. There will also be regional qualifiers at Simon locations in New York and Los Angeles. There are seven participating locations across both cities and qualifying is open from now until October 27 in New York and from October 14 to November 10 in Los Angeles.

The final 64 who make it to Las Vegas will be made up of 32 qualifiers from the online track, and 16 each from NY and LA. The winners of the regional qualifiers will each receive a $10,000 shopping spree, and all 64 finals competitors will be flown to Vegas free of charge. There, they will compete inside the HyperX Esports Arena for the chance to take home a $50,000 shopping spree.
