Following the in-game debut of the latest trailer for Christopher Nolan's upcoming movie TenetFortnite plans to screen one of the director's earlier films some time this summer as well. Grab a bag of popcorn, put on your favorite Fortnite skin, and sit around watching one of the director's classic movies with your friends some time soon.

The movie will likely be screened within Fortnite's new Party Royale mode, which has been helping the game evolve from a simple battle royale shooter into a full blown social platform. Aside from the recent Tenet trailer, the mode has also hosted live shows from the likes of Deadmau5, Steve Aoki, Diplo, and more.

Although there's no news as to which Christopher Nolan film will be screened within the game this summer, we'd put our money on a Batman movie. Fortnite already held a collaboration with the dark knight last year, and the Batman movies are probably more popular with Fortnite's main demographic than any other film in Nolan's catalogue.

Watching a movie within Fortnite might not be the same as screening it in a home theater with your friends, but considering the current pandemic, it's probably the next best thing. There's also a pretty good chance that this won't be the last in-game movie screened within Fortnite, and it'll be interesting to see how the game continues to utilize the Party Royale social space.
