Fortnite X Batman Is Real, Here's How To Get All The Items

2019's Batman Day has come and gone on September 21, but the caped crusader will be sticking around in Fortnite for another eight days, along with the master thief Catwoman! Rumors of the crossover have circulated online for weeks, and now we can see a broad range of items up for grabs.

Like other cross over events, there are sprays, gliders, emotes, loading screens, harvesting tools, and skins up for grabs. Unfortunately, some players feel stung at seeing what might be considered the most sought-after items locked behind a cash only purchase. The Batman Caped Crusader Pack includes two skins, the Batman Comic Book Outfit and the Dark Knight Movie Outfit, along with a Batman pickaxe, glider, and cloak back bling, all for $19.99 USD, or $25.19 CDN.

Everything else can be earned through in-game challenges or purchased with V-Bucks from the item shop. The Catwoman Comic Book Outfit, closely resembling the art style of Adam Hughes, can be purchased for 1,500 V-Bucks, and comes with a Jeweled Cat back bling. Two styles can be chosen with the goggles on or off.

The Batglider can be purchased for 1,200 V-Bucks, and is perhaps the least impressive item in the set.

The Bat Signal Emote lets anyone feel like a hero as they stand and stare at the signal in the sky.

Finally, the Caped Crusader music is available for 200 V-Bucks

As for challenges, players need to partake in “Welcome To Gotham City”. A Rift Zone has transformed Tilted Towers into Gotham City, the dark, Gothic center of the DC universe. Completing two, four, or six of the associated challenges will earn you a loading screen, a banner, and a glider. Dealing 250 damage to opponents with the Explosive Batarangs provided in Gotham City will award a spray of the same item.

The challenges themselves are quite straightforward, and everyone should be able to complete them with little difficulty. They include:

  • Light up different Bat Signals outside of Gotham City
  • Use a Batman Grapnel Gun in different matches
  • Defuse joker gas canisters found in different named locations
  • Deal any damage to opponents within 30s of using a Batman Grapnel Gun
  • Light a Bat Signal, use a Batman Grapnel Gun, and deal any damage with an Explosive Batarang in a single match

Even if one is not particularly fond of the above rewards, the rest of the challenges award a total of 50 stars towards the Season X Battle Pass, and since we are now less than two weeks away before the season ends, this could be a great place to boost those last few levels one may need to reach the 100th tier.

Now is the time to practice your best Batman voice, and become The Batman!
