At the beginning of every Forza Horizon game (other than the first), you get to choose your starter car. Most starter cars in the Forza Horizon series aren't the best, but they’ve come a long way. In fact, the three starter cars in Forza Horizon 5 are some of the best cheap cars in the entire game.

In Forza Horizon 5, you could drive 13 of the 14 starter cars in the series. Sadly, the 2014 BMW Z4 sDrive35is isn’t in the game, but it is still included in this list. Here are all of the starter cars in the Forza Horizon series, ranked from worst to best.

With a top speed of 145 mph and a 0-60 mph time of 6.7 seconds, this retro hot hatch is pretty quick. Sadly, once you get behind the wheel, it’s as mediocre as it gets. The Corrado VR6 doesn't really excel at anything.

The BMW Z4 sDrive35is is the only car on this list that you can’t get behind the wheel of in Forza Horizon 5. It’s a real shame too because this Forza Horizon 2 starter car would've been the perfect car to go cruising through the beautiful country of Mexico with the top down.

The Z4 sDrive35is has a top speed of 181 mph and can go 0-60 mph in 4.7 seconds. On top of that, it even has good handling, making it one of the best A-class road racers in Forza Horizon 4.
