Fire Free Max – a massive upgrade to the popular mobile battle royale – is now available worldwide on both iOS and Android. Developer Garena said that Free Fire Max offers "the same Free Fire gameplay with enhanced specifications," which include more realistic maps, exclusive features, and improved animations.

If you're a longtime Free Fire player looking to upgrade, you'll be glad to know that all your old data will transfer to Free Fire Max. Using Firelink technology, both crossplay and cross-progression between the two games are supported. Specifically, Garena said the following features are enabled through Firelink:

  • Use the same existing Free Fire account to login to Free Fire MAX.
  • Sync all accounts data – including account progress and game items – across both applications.
  • Play all game modes with all Free Fire players, regardless of the application that they use.

Beyond all the visual enhancements, Free Fire Max also introduces Craftland, which will allow you to create your own map and share it with other players.

"Craftland is a Free Fire MAX-exclusive feature that lets players create their very own maps and enjoy them with their friends – all from their mobile phones," Garena announced. "Players can get creative and include various objects, buildings, structures, and decorations on their very own maps for a social and enjoyable experience with friends. "

Free Fire Max is now available for free on iOS and Android.
