Call of Duty Mobile is set to feature the legendary game mode Free-For-All, as it is coming to the mobile-based game on October 11th. This is the first (and presumably not last) additional bit of content that will be added to the game. Unfortunately, Free-For-All will only be available for a limited time at the moment, available between October 11th and 17th.
For those unfamiliar with Free-For-All, the game mode typically features up to eight players all engaged in combat with no set teams. It's every player for themselves and the first to a certain amount of kills (usually 30) wins the match. Free-For-All's premise lends itself to some incredibly exciting Call of Duty moments and should be a hit on Call of Duty Mobile.
Unfortunately, Free-For-All will only be available for a limited time on Call of Duty Mobile, but hopefully it performs well and is eventually added permanently. Or, the plan could be to continually feature the game mode during a limited time to help keep interest generated as the game moves further away from its initial launch. Hopefully, Free-For-All will be integrated into the game as a permanent game mode, but it's hard to tell at the moment.
Free-For-All is the first of many new features to come, as the company confirmed that they will be bringing more content to Call of Duty Mobile. This includes Zombies which has its own separate menu but is not available yet. Call of Duty Mobile's free-to-play business model is a great way to entice new players to give the game a try. And keeping new features and game modes rolling out over time will help keep the player base interested. Call of Duty Mobile is already a great mobile gaming experience that features a ton of content. Continued support through the addition of new features will only make it better.
