Free Fortnite Loot Is Up For Grabs To PS Plus Members

There are some free items up for grabs on Fortnite right now, but only for PS4 players who have a PS Plus subscription.

Most Fortnite players are busy right now trying to figure out what big changes are coming in the free-to-play Battle Royale game, as we hurtle towards season six. A giant purple cube has been ominously making its way across the map and the latest rumors suggest that it is going to turn Loot Lake into a lava-filled volcano.

That sounds pretty cool and is the latest thing Epic Games, Fortnite's developers, will be doing for its players free of charge. The game and its map are constantly changing and evolving in order to keep players interested. That's why Fortnite continues to gain popularity at an exponential rate more than a year after its initial release.

As if Epic hadn't given us enough for absolutely free already, it has now given those of us who play Fortnite on PlayStation 4 even more free loots. The three items are available now on the PlayStation Store and the only catch is that you need a PS Plus subscription in order to claim them. Fortnite is one of the few games that you can play online without being signed up to PS Plus.

The pack is called the Fortnite Battle Royale: PlayStation Plus Celebration Pack and, as mentioned above, comes with three items, all of which are PlayStation-themed. It contains The Flappy Glider which is blue and white with googly eyes, a PS controller-themed pickaxe with blue lightning bolts and analog sticks on top of it, and a skydiving trail that emits PlayStation colors from your arms and legs as you skydive down onto the Fortnite island.

This isn't the first time that Epic has offered up free loots to PlayStation 4 players. In fact, it's the third time this has happened so far this year. The other two packs are no longer available though, so we would suggest that you don't hang around when it comes to laying claim to this latest one. It probably won't be around for long.
