G4 is poised to make a big comeback this year, and it looks like Dungeons & Dragons streaming shows are a big part of that. The network announced that it's partnering with Wizards of the Coast to have co-exclusive airings of D&D Live 2021. Then, when G4TV officially comes back, it will run four all-new D&D campaign series.

D&D Live is the yearly celebration of the world's most iconic tabletop RPG. Over the course of a weekend, fans tune in to see special games run by celebrity players, giveaways through audience participation, and previews of upcoming D&D products. Typically these events can only be found on the official D&D channels. But this year's festivities, which will take place on July 16 and 17, will also air on G4TV's digital platforms.

G4's commitment to tabletop will continue later in the Fall. The network has plans for a limited series that will follow four different D&D campaigns. While no word on the story or cast is given, the announcement promises "a mix of G4 talent, veteran D&D players, and celebrities for a new generation of D&D fans."

G4TV is already up and running with B4G4, a sort of experimental period of sketches to keep viewers entertained until the full relaunch of the brand. When that actual launch does happen, it will bring with it revivals of Attack of the Show and X-Play, a new WWE partnership series, and apparently this new run of D&D content.
