Game UK has confirmed that additional PlayStation 5 preorder stock will be made available today online only, though it hasn’t announced a time. Although some customers have complained of login queues, the site seems to be running properly.

In a tweet, Game announced, "Stock will be online only." Earlier, fans feared they wouldn’t be able to get their hands on a next-gen console at launch, yet the UK retailer has established a second round of preorders. PS5 consoles have been virtually flying off the shelves ahead of their November 19 release date. Most retailers have stopped taking preorders; however, Sony has assured buyers that additional stock will be added shortly.

Game also sent out an email to customers stating that limited stock will be available to preorder on its website on the morning of September 25. "Limited stock coming tomorrow late morning. Keep an eye on our website," the Game message reads. "In preparation for tomorrow, please make sure you know your password and correct email address for your Game Reward account."

The PlayStation 5 is listed at £449.99 and the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition is listed at £359.99. The PS5 has a November 12 release date in the USA, Canada, Japan, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, and South Korea. However, fans in the UK and the rest of the world will have to wait until November 19. In the meantime, Sony has encouraged UK buyers to check Amazon, Currys, Smyths, Argos, and ShopTo for additional stock in case they miss out at Game.

The release date for the PS5 was announced with price and preorder information during a PlayStation Showcase recently. The showcase previewed some new games that will be available for the console, including Final Fantasy 16, which is a PlayStation console exclusive for a limited time. Also, Hogwarts Legacy, a new Harry Potter spinoff game, was announced and gameplay for PS5 launch title Spider-Man Miles Morales was shown.

In addition, Capcom announced Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition for PS5 and provided more insight into Resident Evil 8: Village. The Japanese developer’s stream also featured a teaser for a brand new God of War game in 2021.
