When it comes to fun party games to play with friends, Gang Beasts always ends up being a good time. The goofy physics-based fighting experience pits a blob person versus other blob people in constant waves of battles in various different locations. The silly nature around the game is truly one-of-a-kind, but it isn't the only one out there that gives off those vibes.

There are many games that embody the weird physics that Gang Beasts fully embraces. Others are casual brawlers that anyone can pick up and play without feeling left behind. Regardless of what aspect of Gang Beasts players love most, there is something out there that can scratch their itch. Here are some suggestions.

Updated on March 7th, 2022 by Geoffrey Martin: Games like Gang Beasts are perfect for parties or general multiplayer shenanigans because they don't take themselves too seriously. In specific, the indie game scene thrives off of wacky physics-based party games. While all of these games can be played solo, they are, of course, much more enjoyable with a friend or family member in tow, or a whole group. If you happen to be a fan of Gang Beasts and are looking for some additional games to add to your wishlist then check out these additional fun and bonkers games.

12 Rubber Bandits

Rubber Bandits might be one of the most similar games to Gang Beasts. In Rubber Bandits, you play as a host of off-the-wall characters as you duke it out across some cartoony stages, pummeling each other, and surviving each round. However, what makes Rubber Bandits truly unique is that you must also try to obtain as much loot as possible before escaping.

On top of just brawling with other players, you must learn to navigate obstacles and traps while unlocking a bank vault, a safe, or breaking some loot containers. Plus, the game features some fun stages such as a museum, a high-security penthouse, a fishing dock, and even a shipping crate location.

11 The Stretchers

The Stretchers is an overlooked game that combines some truly hilarious physics-based movement with an open island world brimming with puzzles and secrets. As you might imagine from the game's title, you must pick up people and load them onto stretchers in order to take them to the hospital as quickly as possible, however, hijinks almost always ensue.

The Stretchers is a game that begs to be played with another person on the couch. Coordinating your movements with someone else is what makes this game so darn fun. The game seems custom-built to enjoy with a friend since one of you can control the speed of the ambulance while the other steers. While it may sound like a simple premise, it's utterly unique, creative, and downright fun to play.

10 Castle Crashers

The first level in Castle Crashers

A classic from the late 2000s, Castle Crashers is a fun hack-and-slash for those who would rather team up with friends rather than beat them up. Players take on the role of knights as they look to rescue princesses from an evil wizard, who also stole a magic crystal that has too much power.

The game takes place over multiple 2D sidescrolling levels where you will have to beat up a wide variety of enemies using different tools and items at your disposal. You'll also have some opportunities to beat up your friends and mess with them.

9 Rivals Of Aether

Four fighters facing off in Rivals of Aether

Those who enjoy fighting games may prefer classics such as Super Smash Bros. or Mortal Kombat. But if you want a Smash Bros. clone that embraces the indie scene a bit more, then Rivals of Aether might be for you.

The fighting platformer is a 16-bit take on the classic format that puts an emphasis on precise controls and fast movement. There are many original characters in the game, but just like its inspiration, the game also features crossovers with other classic indies of today.

8 Totally Reliable Delivery Service

If the ridiculous physics of Gang Beasts is its main appeal, Totally Reliable Delivery Service may also be something you're interested in. The simulator puts you in a large world where there are delivery missions located on almost every corner.

The goal of the game is to make each delivery as quickly as possible while also not hurting the packages too much. The game has been panned for having its physics be a bit too unorthodox, but it can still be a fun experience for friends to have a good laugh at.

7 Human Fall Flat

A puzzle in the Aztec level in Human Fall Flat

Speaking of physics-based weirdness, those who may enjoy a platforming and puzzle variant of Gang Beasts will absolutely fall in love with Human Fall Flat. The single-player or cooperative experience places you in worlds where the goal is simply to reach the exit.

However, to get there, you will need to overcome massive obstacles and some head-scratching problems.

Some of the excitement revolves around destroying things and exploring. The platformer features 17 different levels to try out plus a workshop that has a bunch of player-made levels available to try.

6 Ultimate Chicken Horse

Many of the obstacles in Ultimate Chicken Horse

Sometimes, it's just fun to mess with friends in Gang Beasts. Ultimate Chicken Horse is the perfect embodiment of this concept. The platformer is played in short rounds where the goal of the game is to make it to the end of a level while also trying to make it harder for others to get there.

You can choose an obstacle at the beginning of each round and you must place them somewhere on the map. You can earn points for finishing quickly or successfully getting someone in your trap. The person with the most points in the end wins.

5 Boomerang Fu

A maze-like arena in Boomerang Fu

Instead of throwing punches, players throw boomerangs in Boomerang Fu. Play as various food creatures while wielding the tool needed to slice and dice the others.

An experience specifically built for couch co-op, each level has an array of power-ups that can be used to make attacks even more effective, from environmental disguises to explosive boomerangs. There is even a co-op mode where you can take on A.I. enemies. The game is also very flexible in its ruleset as the base game can be switched up at any time.

4 Fight Crab

A lobster with guns and a crab with a chainsaw in Fight Crab

There have been a lot of unique indie games that have come out, but in that sea of weirdness, Fight Crab certainly stands out. The spectacle fighter features people taking on the role of weapon-wielding crabs that can battle one-on-one, or two-on-two, in arenas.

The goal of these matches is to flip the opponent over to win. The game has multiple modes, including a campaign and training mode. But the real fun of the game is the local and online battles that can be played with friends, likely sparking the fighting spirit that is unleashed in Gang Beasts.

3 Pummel Party

A desert stage for Board Mode in Pummel Party

Pummel Party is Gang Beasts combined with Mario Party. The game revolves around playing mini-games that, at their core, revolve around beating the crud out of your friends.

Available as both a local and online experience, the core of this party is board mode. Move around the board to collect a bunch of items that will ultimately be used in combat at the end of the game. These weapons include a punching glove, a scythe, and an eggplant. There is also an option to just play all the different mini-games that are available.

2 Duck Game

The arcade in Duck Game

Adult Swim Games have made some solid hits over the years, but Duck Game is probably their best release to date. The quirky fighting game pits ducks against each other in a fight to the death.

Matches are set in 2D platforming levels where both melee and ranged weapons are available for players to pick up and use to survive. Multiple battles take place over the course of a round, with the winner of a match earning a point. The first duck to rack up ten points will win the round, with a trophy ceremony to cap it all off.

1 Stick Fight: The Game

Collapsing boxes and four stick figures in Stick Fight

While it is fun to play as human blobs in Gang Beasts, it's worth trying out fighting friends as stick figures. A physics-based fighting game, Stick Fight: The Game is structured similarly to Duck Game where the core of the game revolves around cycling through matches in different settings.

As the figures fight, weapons will fall from the sky and are able to be used. The game goes on consistently but does show results occasionally as it's being played. There are also some levels centered around one person becoming a large monster, creating a boss battle.
