Unrailed! is all about four friends attempting to build a railway track. The catch? The train is not going to wait for you to finish it. The game has several modes, but the main focus is on blending in with the crowd. You must attempt to walk around the screen like an NPC. If the other players figure out that you're not just an NPC, they will try and knock you out of the game.

13 Jackbox Party Packs

Jackbox Party Pack 7 - Champ'd Up Mascots - Jackbox Party Pack 8 - Poll Mine

There are so many different experiences to sink a few hours into, from quizzes to drawing games. Only one person needs to buy a pack, and then everyone can join via their phones. Just like Human Fall Flat on PC, up to eight (and sometimes more), players can get involved.

Jackbox Party Pack 8 is the latest release, with some fantastic games to try, such as the elaborate murder mystery: Weapons Drawn. But be sure to check out all the packs and see which games appeal to you the most. You can't go wrong with any of the party packs available.

Golf With Your Friends - Woodland Course - Egypt Course

Golf With Your Friends adds a sprinkle of chaos into what could have been a simple sports game. You and your friends are going to get to enjoy a beautiful game of mini-golf. But, with a few tweaks in the settings, you can get up to all sorts of mayhem. You can knock each other off of the course, bounce around, and even have different objects instead of the standard golf ball. The fun comes from messing up your friend's plans or aiming for elaborate trick shots to get that hole in one.

11 We Need To Go Deeper

We Need To Go Deeper - Submarine Artwork - Gameplay of the submarine navigating the deep sea

We Need To Go Deeper is a hectic, challenging game that often leads to all sorts of hilarious situations. This game, like Human Fall Flat, requires you to work as a team to navigate the strange world you've found yourself in. You and a group of up to four players must maintain your submarine, as you avoid dangerous monsters and visit ancient civilizations. It is very easy for the sub to take damage, and you must all pitch in to survive. You must run around the submarine, fixing holes, defeating enemies, and managing where the limited power supply goes.

It is a tremendous rogue-like experience that will have you repeatedly returning, with better equipment (and fancier outfits), to try and see just how deep you can go next.

10 Gang Beasts

Gang Beasts Lorry

Gang Beasts actually came out before Human Fall Flat, and let's be honest, the similarities are fairly clear. A highly entertaining brawler, Gang Beasts employs the same physics system as Human Fall Flat, and the resulting gameplay is hilarious.

It's rough around the edges, but the core experience is endlessly entertaining. Grab some friends, load up Gang Beasts, and laugh your way through the night.

9 Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout

Fall Guys Egg Scramble players dash for the eggs.

The summer 2020 hit, Fall Guys might have lost a lot of popularity that spawned a lot of memes, but it remains a great way of spending a few hours with friends. The developers continue to expand the map selection through free updates too, so there's always new content to play.

The jelly-bean folks can be awkward to control at times, but it just adds to the chaos of a typical Fall Guys round. There isn't a more tense moment in gaming than being on the final floor of a Hex A Gone flinging yourself from tile to tile.

8 Totally Reliable Delivery Service

Totally Reliable Delivery Service

Totally Reliable Delivery Service is a ragdoll physics simulation focused on a crew of delivery couriers. It doesn't sound interesting at first, but the incredible variations in how and where you deliver things enhance what is a fairly basic idea.

As with most physics-based games, chaos is the name of the game. The co-op mode is even more fun, allowing up to 4 players to complete deliveries in vehicles like helicopters, golf carts, and beach buggies.

7 Phogs!

Phogs! Red and Blue

Phogs! puts you in control of a two-headed dog with a really stretchy belly. Naturally, the best way to play is with two players, but even playing alone is great fun. Phogs! revolves around solving environmental puzzles and making your way through the game's three worlds.

Phogs! isn't the longest game by any means, but it is definitely replayable, and a good co-op option across all platforms. It may get frustrating at times but at its core Phogs! is a wonderfully cute adventure.

6 Overcooked 2

Overcooked 2 four players preparing food and running in Rail Track Stage

Overcooked 2 expands everything that worked in the original game, whilst adding a whole lot of originality too. Overcooked possesses arguably some of the best 'co-op' gameplay on the market, although be warned it can lead to some bitter arguments!

Levels take place on hot air balloons, magic schools, and even railroad tracks and have constantly moving parts, further adding to the chaos. Being able to throw food around is pretty cool too.

5 Moving Out

Characters from Moving Out

Playing as a moving company isn't the most thrilling idea, but Moving Out can be a real laugh with four players. Half of the game's levels are odes to classic series such as Frogger and Mario, Moving Out doesn't try to take itself too seriously and it works.

This comes to fruition upon realising that throwing a sofa through a window will smash it, or that a piano in a creepy mansion has teeth and will chase you like a dog. Moving Out gives players a level, an objective, and gives players free rein to complete it.

4 Ultimate Chicken Horse

Ultimate Chicken Horse Online Multiplayer

There are many unique indie games, but Ultimate Chicken Horse might just be at the top of that list. It's a platformer, in which you build the level as you play, all with the aim of screwing over your friends and stopping them from finishing the level.

Ultimate Chicken Horse is definitely an intense game to play and requires immense focus, but in full flow, it is nothing short of party game perfection. Plus you can play as a raccoon, or a sheep, or a horse!

3 Heave Ho

Heave Ho Main Character Stretching Hands

Heave Ho has a fairly basic goal, don't fall and die. Every character in Heave Ho has stretchy arms, which are the key to survival, along with other players of course. Moving through levels relies on players actually working together to move from obstacle to obstacle, inevitably leading to some crazy moments.

Of course, this allows Heave Ho to have some zany level design, and it truly is a unique game in the genre. The controls are easy too, making it the perfect game to pick up and play on any social occasion.

2 Castle Crashers Remastered

Castle Crashers - The Blue, Green, Pink, And Red Knights Surrounded By The Rest Of The Cast

Even after ten years, Castle Crashers is still one of the best co-op beat 'em ups in gaming. It has tight controls, lots of modes, great visual design, and a degree of replayability rarely seen in party games. Just don't expect anything revolutionary from its cookie-cutter story

The action can get manic when four knights are dashing around the screen defeating fantastical beasts, but it really is when Castle Crashers shines. It's pretty accessible too but still has enough for more experienced players to get their teeth into.

1 Keep Talking And Nobody Explodes

Keep Talking And Nobody Explodes Bomb

Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes is a great example of a game that is made for VR. Anyone can chime in with advice and tips on how to defuse the bomb, which can spark moments of genius as well as arguments over who the defuser should really listen to.

With endless replay value, there is a reason why Nobody Explodes is often seen as the best VR party game, especially considering how easy it is to get to grips with. There is even a physical manual to print off, further immersing players in the bomb-defusing fantasy.
