The Xbox 360 era is long since over, but that hasn’t stopped Microsoft from giving away a free Xbox 360 game or two every month with Games With Gold. However, the flow of free 360 games will finally come to an end later this year.A message sent to Xbox Gold subscribers confirmed that Games With Gold will stop sending out free 360 games starting in October (via Wario64). According to the message, Microsoft simply cannot add more 360 games, either reaching some sort of hardware limitation or simply running out of 360 games where the developer wants to be part of the Games With Gold program.Related: Halo Infinite Must Recapture The Magic Of Campaign Co-Op For A New GenerationGames With Gold will continue to provide free Xbox One games every month, and you can still re-download any previously claimed 360 game later regardless of your membership status.

Speaking of Games With Gold, July’s freebies include Project Highrise: Architect's Editions (available until July 15), Beasts of Maravilla Island (available until July 31), and the Xbox 360 classic Thrillville: Off The Rail from Frontier Development. The sequel to the original Thrillville, both games are theme park simulators similar to Roller Coaster Tycoon. Frontier would eventually evolve the Thrillville series into Planet Coaster, but there’s still plenty of rides and missions for fans of the genre in Thrillville: Off The Rail.

Thrillville: Off The Rail will be available until July 15.

In other Xbox news, Game Pass subscribers will be happy to note that the entire Yakuza franchise is once again back on the service. Yakuza 0, Kiwami, and Kiwami 2 were removed from Game Pass back in December, but today they’re back, completing the franchise and providing new players a fantastic starting point for the series.

Yakuza 0 might be a prequel, but it arguably does an even better job of introducing series protagonist Kamiya than the first Yakuza game. Meanwhile, Kiwami 1 and 2 are remakes of the original in an updated game engine that seriously enhances both games’ visuals.
