Welcome to day two of Gamescom 2021, and we’ve got yet another jam-packed day of gaming news in store. To start us off, indie games will take center stage thanks to Gamescom’s Awesome Indies showcase, which arrives today at 11:30 PST.

It's always hard to pick which indie games deserve airtime during a live stream event, but that's why Gamescom created the Indie Arena Booth for 2021. There are more indie games here than you can count, including titles like Project Haven, Unbound: Worlds Apart, The Riftbreaker, and Hazel Skies. If you don't see your favorite during today's presentation, just head to Gamescom's website to check out the Indie Arena Booth.

Awesome Indies Stream Times

Gamescom Awesome Indies starts Thursday, August 26 at the following times:

  • 11:30 AM PST
  • 2:30 PM EST
  • 7:30 PM BST

As for the Awesome Indies Showcase, you can expect to see host Michael Swaim preview a selection of the best indie games around. The host of hit web series Does Not Compute and Cracked's After Hours, Swaim is no stranger to indies, and we're sure he'll give them the exciting reveal that each title deserves.
