Things are getting heated already in the next-gen console war. Both the Xbox Series X and the PlayStation 5 sold out within hours of going up for pre-order, with GameStop completely running out of stock moments after the Playstation 5 price and release date was revealed a week ago.

Analysts expected some pretty high demand for the PS5, but nobody could foresee this. Not that Sony is complaining, mind you.

The good news is that Sony has decided to give the people what they want, and that means GameStop is going to get more PS5s in stock.

"We are pleased to announce that further quantities of PS5 consoles will be made available to pre-order at https://bddy.me/33XoUHG and in GameStop stores tomorrow, Friday 9/25," the games store noted.

However, they didn't provide a specific time during which pre-orders will go live once again. You’re just going to have to keep hammering the reload button on your browser starting tomorrow to find out. We’re guessing 9 AM EST, but who knows? They probably kept it a secret to prevent their site from crashing again.

Things are probably going to be roughly the same for the Nvidia 3070 when it goes on sale in October. It’s just a really hard time to be a gamer.
