Halo Infinite might have more cooks in the kitchen than just 343 Industries, as it seems The Coalition is somehow involved in the upcoming title.

The news comes from LinkedIn, where a level artist at The Coalition – responsible for Gears 5 – updated their portfolio to include Halo Infinite. Dig a bit deeper and you'll find another person from The Coalition who claims they're working on "cinematics" for the highly anticipated title.

As one of the biggest upcoming games for Xbox Series X|S, it doesn't come as much of a surprise that Microsoft would enlist other talent to get Halo Infinite to the level it deserves. No doubt tensions were high following the lackluster showing in 2020, and the subsequent delays have hopefully done much to build upon the first official gameplay trailer.

If folks from The Coalition are truly helping with Halo Infinite, then it's very likely the game will look much better than it did last year. Gears 5 was a stunning game on Xbox One, and its next-gen update truly made it feel like a next-gen experience. Here's hoping the team can do the same with Halo.

It's nothing new for games of this size to outsource a bit of development – after all, The Last of Us 2 had around 2000 people working on it before launch. Word that The Coalition might be involved with Infinite's development is –quite frankly – great to hear, as it means another set of eyes on the highly-anticipated project.

Halo Infinite is scheduled to launch sometime this Fall.
