The launch of Gears 5 has come with a little bit of a hiccup as characters experience lag and even an infinite blue loading screen of death. 9 Taken To The Cleaners
It’s one thing to lose to your opponent, but it’s a much more heartbreaking experience when the game features a taunt mechanic. Gears of War doesn’t have such a mechanic, which of course means players had to find another way to rub their victories in their adversaries' faces, and thus the T-Bag was born. 8 So. Many. Choices.
New games mean new gear, and new gear means even cooler ways to take down bad guys. Unlike a lot of RPGs that tend to allow you to carry an inhuman number of items and weapons (seriously who needs 99x of everything?), the Gears series limits the number of weapons a player can equip. That means you won’t be able to wield all those cool new toys at once.
Better whittle it down to your strongest or favorite five as quickly as possible. The Locusts won’t be so nice as to give you time to build a vision board full of internet cut-outs and descriptions of what your ideal weapon should look like and be capable of. Remember when we said we’re competitive? This meme also hosted by the Facebook group Gears of War Memes perfectly summarizes our reaction to losing. Disbelief. Heartache. Betrayal. But it’s also funny because some people might interpret it as the face you make when you’re genuinely impressed by your opponent’s skill. Some people are good sports…we don’t think that. Again, competitive. It’s a character flaw. We already admitted it. This is war, and we plan to come out on top no matter what.

This one posted by Ineedproof looks like a crazy Adidas ad if Adidas was a thing that was running ads during a wackypants war between humans and Locusts. They aren’t…but ya know. Regardless, we imagine this is the thing that Locust dreams are made of. The artistry in this Adidas spoof is just too good to pass up and falls completely in line with the kind of strange propaganda we imagine the Swarm might pass around to keep up morale. They may be the bad guys but some might say they’re only the bad guys because they stand in opposition to the protagonist…or maybe that’s what everyone would say?
5 Make Way For The Queen
This one’s a bit of a double-edged sword, but a lot of the best jokes are. While Myrrah did eventually become the driving force behind the push for humanity’s destruction, sis was just trying to live a peaceful life with her family underground. Can’t be mad at that. Things got dicey when all the double-crossing made her people sick so they were forced to make their way to the surface.
Now they didn’t have to destroy humanity when they got there, but decisions were made, wars were started, and now memes exist. Shout out to Ineedproof for supplying this meme.

Oof. We’ve all been there. You’re having a match online, doing great, wracking up the damage, and BOOM! Your teammate comes and snakes the kill after all of your hard work. Now if only there was some way to get back at them. Oh, right, you have the ability to determine whether they live or die. Sure, it's petty, but we’re not perfect.
