Electro Traveler is one of Genshin Impact's best battery characters, able to provide constant and consistent energy recharge for the whole team. But in which team exactly does the Electro Traveler fit the best? Electro MC isn't a specific elemental battery, rather her abilities let them generate flat energy instead of elemental particles.

This is because their Constellations, Talents and passive effects are all about generating energy through their Elemental Skill and Burst. This means they have the potential to be battery support to any main DPS who needs a lot of energy or be the missing link in any team comp where you don't have a character with a matching element to put in.

Battery For High-Cost Burst Characters

Genshin Impact Electro Traveller generates Abundance Amulets

The Electro Traveler is one of the best battery-support characters in the game. They have incredible energy recharge capabilities for your whole team, so this type of composition takes full advantage of this by using them in a party with high-cost Elemental Burst characters.

  • Main DPS: Eula, Razor, Keqing, Xiao, Noelle.
  • Battery: Electro Traveler.
  • Support: Fischl.
  • Support: This last spot can be filled with an Anemo character to help crowd control, a shielder like Zhongli, or another character with a high energy cost for their Burst like Noelle.

Because this team uses Fischl and the Electro Traveler, you'll get Electro Resonance for your party here. Fischl is already an incredible battery specifically for Electro characters; the Electro Traveler is the cherry on top that will ensure you never want for energy and spam even the highest cost Bursts to your heart's content.

Characters such as Eula and Xiao require a lot of energy to use their burst. Running them as your main DPS in this team with the Electro Traveler will ensure they're able to keep up the damage; Electro Traveler fits with Eula if you don't have enough Cryo characters to plug into her, but either way, this team takes full advantage of the MC being a general battery.

Taser Team

In this team composition, you can get the best of both worlds with the Electro MC's battery capabilities and impressive Electro application. Using a Hydro main DPS such as Childe (Tartaglia) will let you zap enemies into next week when used with the Traveler's Elemental Burst.

  • Main DPS: Childe, Ayato, Mona.
  • Battery: Electro Traveler.
  • Support: Fischl, Beido.
  • Support: Diona, Barbara, Kokomi, Diona, Layla.

Childe's Riptide effect synergises well with the MC's Burst since it will deal continuous off-field Electro damage multiple times, letting you run wild and keep enemies in a loop of Hyrdo and Electro damage. Support characters such as Kazuha, Diona, Layla, or Fischl allows you to have more elemental application and, if using Diona, Layla, or Barbara, will give you shields and healing when needed.

The MC is a free-to-play character with free Constellations, meaning you can have a Constellation Six character just by playing the game.

Notably, Constellations one and four are incredible for energy recharge, increasing the number of Abundance Amulets and the amount of energy they regenerate.

Electro Battery Team

Genshin Impact Electro Traveler Team Beidou

For teams that you want to use an Electro character as your main DPS, this is the one for you. While the Electro Traveler isn't specifically an Electro battery since they are technically an all-purpose battery, the MC still synergises well with Electro characters.

  • Main DPS: Beidou, Keqing, Razor, Cyno.
  • Electro Sub-DPS or Support: Fischl, Kujou Sara.
  • Battery: Electro Traveler.
  • Support: An Anemo unit would work well here to keep enemies grouped, but this slot can be flexible for a healer or whatever you decide.

Throwing Fischl into this group might be a bit of overkill, and if you find that to be the case, then you'd be better suited using Sara since she is essentially Bennett for Electro characters. With that in mind, Fischl's spot in this team ensures that Beidou or your Electro DPS never suffer from energy recharge issues, even if they have the base 100 percent ER. Keqing, on the other hand, doesn't need a lot of energy to get her Burst so you can opt for more damage using Sara.

Aggravate Team

Of course, the Dendro element can trigger the Aggravate reaction which has generally been a considerable buff to your Electro characters since it was introduced with Sumeru. Rocking an Aggravate reaction team with the Electro Traveler as either the main DPS or the support battery will work out well, so you can play around with this comp.

  • Main DPS: Electro Traveler, Keqing, Cyno, Razor.
  • Sub DPS: Collei, Tighnari, Nahida,
  • Sub DPS: Fischl, Beidou, or any Dendro character.
  • Support: Electro Traveler (if not the main DPS), Kuki Shinobu, Raiden Shogun, Dori.

While it's not advisable to build the Electro Traveler away from being a battery support, you can invest in making them the main DPS if you want to switch things up. Generally speaking, if you use the Traveler in an Aggravate comp, you should use them as Dendro instead, but this will be a way to increase their damage in this comp. Having two Dendro and two Electo characters will give you both Elemental Resonance and ensures that you only create Aggravate reactions here.
