Lisa is one of the first characters to join the Traveler's party in Genshin Impact. Her element, Electro, is among the best in the game, so she's a very useful teammate for new players. With the right companions backing her up, she can lay waste to hordes of enemies with her magic.

While later Electro characters are generally considered stronger options overall, building a team around Lisa is a great option for players who have limited rosters. Try these shocking combinations to unlock the full potential of this languid librarian.

Elemental Starter Set

  • Traveler
  • Amber
  • Kaeya

This lineup is a perfect way for new players to get the hang of Elemental combos with an offense-oriented play style. After completing the three Temples, both Kaeya and Lisa will be permanently recruited.

In most encounters, you can start by shooting charged arrows with Amber until the enemy closes in. From there, switch to the Traveler and use Palm Vortex to spread Pyro to any enemies you might have missed. Once that's done (or if the Traveler wasn't needed), Lisa can then take the stage and use Electro to Overload the burning foes. If any survive, switch to Kaeya and apply Cryo with his elemental skill. While the enemies are Superconductive, the swordsman should have little trouble finishing them off with rapid strikes.

Alternates: If you need a tank, swap the Traveler out for Noelle. She's a guaranteed pull if you make ten Beginner's Wishes simultaneously, and can give this lineup some durability they would otherwise lack.

A Hydro character who can easily inflict Wet on enemies is essential for maximizing Lisa's crowd-control capabilities. Mona is ideal for this, as her basic attacks will inflict Wet as will her summoned Phantom of Fate. Once all the enemies in a group are nice and damp, unleash Lisa's Electro attacks to zap them repeatedly. As an added bonus, the Phantom of Fate will taunt your foes, bringing them into a convenient grouping for Lisa.

Diluc and Shenhe add melee power to this team; Shenhe can use her Cryo skills to apply Superconduct to electrified enemies, then either attack on her own or let Diluc take the helm with his claymore. Diluc and Mona also make for a solid Vaporize combo in the event that Lisa becomes incapacitated or that you come across an enemy that's immune to Electro.

Alternates: If you need a healer or haven't yet recruited Mona, Barbara makes a suitable recovery-focused replacement. Hu Tao exchanges Diluc's melee focus for greater emphasis on Pyro damage, and Kaeya is an accessible option to replace Shenhe. If you have Xingqiu, he can replace Mona to buff Lisa's weapon to create rain, allowing her to Electro-charge foes on her own.

Big Boom

  • Xinyan
  • Qiqi
  • Kamisato Ayaka

This team capitalizes on the synergy between Pyro and Electro to create explosions via Overload. For best results, equip Lisa with a loadout that maximizes her Elemental Mastery. Xinyan takes the lead in this lineup, tanking hits with Sweeping Fervor while priming enemies with Pyro. When there is a lull in the enemy attacks, quickly swap Lisa in and use Violet Arc to detonate the burning foes. Against groups of tougher enemies, repeating this process three times allows Lisa to build up the maximum number of Conductive charges before unleashing a fully-powered Violet Arc.

When her elemental burst is available, Lisa can summon a Lightning Rose. Switch back to Xinyan and use Sweeping Fervor as much as possible, as the Lightning Rose will continually trigger explosions which Xinyan's shield will absorb.

As needed, bring in Qiqi to heal and apply Cryo, allowing for Melt and Superconduct combos to be mixed into the rotation. Ayaka can be brought in to quickly deal damage as needed, and her presence grants the party Cryo's elemental resonance, increasing the team's crit chances.

Alternates: Kaeya can fill Ayaka's role on this team if she isn't available. Alternately, you can choose another Pyro DPS like Hu Tao or Bennet to get the attack-boosting Pyro resonance rather than Cryo.

Just because Lisa's focus is on dealing with groups of foes doesn't mean she can't contribute to a boss fight. If you've been lucky enough to get some rare characters for your team, you can create a solid rotation that allows Lisa to build up Conductive charges over a prolonged battle.

Ayaka and Ayato switch rapidly, applying Hydro and Cryo in tandem. If this manages to freeze the target, so much the better. Beidou acts as the team's tank, holding out for an opportunity to Lisa to swap in and drop a Conductive charge. Beidou's presence also grants the party the Electro resonance, generating elemental particles to speed up the fight. Use Ayaka's elemental skills to apply Superconductive at all times so that the three melee characters can deal more damage throughout.

Alternates: If the Kamisato siblings aren't available, use Kaeya and Xingqiu to fill their roles in this party.
