In Genshin Impact, Cor Lapis is a Liyue-specific material that you'll need to collect if you want to ascend characters like Chongyun, Keqing, and Zhongli. Cor Lapis is a bit different from your typical ascension materials in the game, since it has to be mined like iron ore, but is counted as a speciality item.

How To Find Cor Lapis In Liyue

Genshin Impact: the map screen shows the western area of Liyue, notably Mt. Hulao

Since Cor Lapis is counted as a Liyue speciality, it can be located by Qiqi and Yanfei, whose talents show Liyue-specific materials on your minimap.

Ningguang, on the other hand, won't be able to detect the mineral. When using Qiqi or Yanfei, a small indicator will pop up on your map where the Cor Lapis is located.

Keep in mind that Qiqi and Yanfei's Talent also shows other specialities at the same time.

Even if it shows on your minimap it doesn't mean it's Cor Lapis.

There are quite a few Cor Lapis locations around Liyue, especially around parts of Minlin. A popular spot for quick gathering is Mt. Hulao, but there are other patches located all around Liyue, especially in caves or under cliffs.

If you have Zhongli, keep in mind that using his Elemental Skill will break all ore and mineral deposits immediately when it hits.

You don't even need a Claymore user to break them if you use Zhongli.

The Best Cor Lapis Farming Routes

Cor Lapis is a bit more spread out than some other specialities like the Starconch, but there are ways to make farming easier

If you don't have Zhongli, you should have a Claymore user to hand to break the ore easily and save time.

The best place to start your collecting is on Mt. Hulao. From there, you will want to teleport over to the adjacent mountain shown in the picture above and follow the harvesting path.

The Lapis is a bit spread out from there, but there are a few other clusters marked on the map and a line of Cor Lapis located near Cuijue Slope.

There are also a few more pieces scattered around the Luhua Pools. Once you have picked up the Cor Lapis around the route above you can then head down to Lingju Pass to pick up a few more pieces.

Another quick spot to pick up a couple of sets of Cor Lapis is near the domain in Gunyan Stone Forest. Cor Lapis can also be found around Wuwang Hill, but in much smaller quantities than shown on the farming routes above.

The giant amber chunks on Mt. Hulao do not contain any Cor Lapis.

Upon completing Zhongli's Story Quest, you will get access to an underground section in Sal Terrae. Breaking the seal above ground lets you explore the area, where you'll find plenty of Cor Lapis nodes dotted around.

You won't be able to buy up a ton of Cor Lapis from Changshun, but picking some up every week can help you keep a steady stock.

Every week you can buy five Cor Lapis for 1,500 Mora each for a total of 7,500 Mora.

Where To Find Changshun in Liyue Harbor

Changshun can be found in front of the stand pictured above. She is located in the Feiyun Slope in Liyue Harbor. This area is home to the Wanwen Bookhouse, Heyu Tea House, and the Ministry of Civil Affairs.

Changshun is on the street level of the slope, toward the bridge that leads to the city's main plaza. She is near the jeweller and is available at all times of the day.

The shop restocks every week, which means you can buy five each week. This merchant store was added during the 1.4 update.
