Honestly, I’m glad that Mihoyo didn’t go for another element-oculus like their Amenoculus and Geoculus collectibles in the Dragonspine region. Instead of having some mysterious ethereal spirit to collect, you’ll be collecting Crimson Agate, and these items are spread all over the Dragonspine region in Genshin Impact’s latest big update.

The new region has a lot of secrets to find, such as the collection of Ancient Stone Tablets, and there are a bunch of new things to learn and keep in mind, such as the mountain’s dangerous Sheer Cold which can easily kill you, or the mysterious ice that prevents you from activating the Statue of the Seven atop the Dragonspine mountain. It’s nice to see the team putting so much work into the game and adding things which don’t fit in the established formula the game has presented to us thus far.

But one thing that’ll never change is the open-world hunt, for, of course, that’s what the game is all about. In the Dragonspine region, there are plenty of things to hunt, but few are as useful as the Crimson Agate, which you’ll be using to achieve buffs, benefits, and rewards while exploring the Dragonspine region, and if you want to make the most of this new region, then you’ll need to collect them all.

Just read below for everything you need to know about the Crimson Agate, where to find them, and what to do next in Genshin Impact.

Crimson Agate Dragonspine Locations In Genshin Impact

If you need to know what you actually use Crimson Agate for, make sure to read below, but for now, know that you can collect all of the Crimson Agate on the map below and you’ll get the Frostbearing Tree up to level 8, easily, and then it’s a case of playing Crimson Wishes for even more upgrades. Thanks to /u/someone_needing_help on Reddit for this map.

The Frostbearing Tree Dragonspine Location In Genshin Impact

The Frostbearing Tree is the location where you will be offering up your acquired Crimson Agate in Genshin Impact. It is located just North of the Statue of the Seven, near the top of Dragonspine mountain. If you’ve already made your way to the Statue of the Seven, it is not far away at all.

Only to use the Frostbearing Tree, you’ll need to thaw away the ice surrounding it the same way you did with the Statue of the Seven, using the Scarlet Quartz - which is definitely different to the Crimson Agate, though I would forgive you for not immediately being able to tell. You can find out how to defrost the Frostbearing Tree right here.

Now it’s defrosted, you can get rewards from the tree, including the following…

  • Acquaint/Intertwined Fate
  • Mora
  • Level-up books
  • Enchantment ore
