Genshin Impact has many interesting characters, although not all of them are playable. Flora is a young girl who eagerly attends to her flower shop near Mondstadt's front gate. She is a great source for level-up materials for players who need the flowers in her shop. She is also an important part of Mondstadt and is involved in multiple quests inside the city.

In many ways, Flora is one of the most used NPCs in town, and who knows, she might even find a vision of her own in the future with how passionate she is about her flowers.

8 Flora Used to Be An Adult

Talking to Flora in game

A lot of things have changed since Genshin Impact started its development. Originally, during the beta, Flora was actually an adult NPC with a design similar to the other adult characters in Mondstadt city.

She wore a purple dress and played the same role as her younger version. It's not clear why Flora's model was changed, but she now looks very different than she did originally.

7 Chloris is Her Sister

Chloris Flora's Sister

Players who have spent time roaming Mondstadt have probably run into a young girl on the road named Chloris. She is a botanist who will sell plants to players who venture out to meet her. Like Flora, her stock is limited, and she won't be available during the late-night hours.

If players decide to speak with Chloris, they will learn that she is Flora's older sister. Chloris also states that she wishes Flora would expand her interest to cover plants other than flowers.

6 Flora Has an Imaginary Friend

Despite being well-spoken and running her own shop, Flora is still a child. This is shown during the first chapter of Venti's story. Traveler and Venti begin investigating imaginary friends, and one of the NPCs they look at is Flora, since she is one of the younger residents of Mondstadt.

As you might have guessed, her imaginary friend is also a plant. In fact, it's the Bloaty Floaty, the same plant that you find around Mondstadt and pop its bubbles to gain loot.

5 Her Favorite Book is Fox in the Dandelion Sea

The Fox And The Dandelion Book

Flora actually gave out the first book of her favorite series during the Windblume Festival. The book is Fox in The Dandelion Sea and is the story that caused dandelions to become her favorite plant. The book details the adventure of a playful fox and a hunter and is geared towards Teyvat children.

The book has 11 volumes, and it seems that Flora is trying to read them all. The books also seem to have an impact on her love for Jean, since she is known as the Dandelion Knight.

4 Her Store Only Sells Five Types of Items

Flora doesn't have a huge inventory, but the products she sells are useful for ascension and will restock around every three days. Due to Flora's location, she likely won't expand her inventory anytime soon.

While it's not explicitly stated how well her store does, she is the only florist in a city that is obsessed with both love and flowers. Flora also talks about making bouquets and makes a lot of floral arrangements for the rest of the city.

3 She Dislikes Storms

Flora Talking About Storms in Genshin Impact

Flora actually admits that she wasn't really bothered by the appearance of Stormterror over the city. The only thing that worries her is when actual storms appear. She worries about the flowers around Mondstadt getting damaged but does believe it's a good thing that the wind will scatter dandelion seeds.

Flora loves to see the plant life spread throughout the region, as long as the wind doesn't kill all of the flowers in the process.

2 She is Innovative

Chloris Wanting Flora to Expand

Flora is destined for great things, and this can be seen with her commission. Flora commissions the Traveler to help her find a way to preserve the excess flowers she cuts for customers. Her idea is to use the cold to preserve flowers and she wants them planted in Dragonspine to see how they fare.

She will then give out a second commission that sends you back to Dragonspine to check on the status of the flowers you previously left. As you might have guessed, it is a bit hard to control enemies on Dragonspine, and some of the flowers get stolen. It doesn't seem to bother her though as she continues to try.

1 Flora Has a World Quest

Xiao Finding Dandelions

Flora has a world quest that becomes available to players once they hit Adventurer Rank 24. The quest is called Flighty Flora... and Flora. When you talk to Flora, you'll learn that the Stormterror incident caused many of her plants to be blown away, and she needs a fresh supply.

You'll then need to go out and collect some dandelion seeds to help her get things back in order. After helping her, she will have flowers growing in front of her shop and will happily go back to selling plants.
