Last month, Genshin Impact players enjoyed the largest game update so far, Version 2.0. This brought not just new playable characters including current banner characters Yoimaya and Sayu, but also the region of Inazuma. The electro-based archipelago region comes with new puzzles, domains, and events.
Now the 2.1 update will be adding the Moonchase Festival, a culinary event taking place in Liyue. There will also be treasure chests and charms to hunt around Mondstadt, Dragonspine, and Liyue. Alongside this, the storyline in Inazuma will be continuing through a brand new Archon Quest - Chapter 2 Act 3: Omnipresence Over Mortals. We'll also get more new characters, and more unexpectedly, a new four-star claymore that looks like a fish.
As MiHuYo dishes the details of the 2.1 update in their livestream, they also hand out extra treasures in the form of codes for free primogems.
