If you've been playing Genshin Impact recently, you'll likely already know about the Klee banner that was added to the game last week. For those unacquainted with Klee, she's a 5-star Pyro-based character who primarily uses explosives to blast her enemies into smithereens, and is incredibly rare to get from Wishes. If you read my recent study for which I did over 1,500 Wishes in Genshin Impact. you'll know that it can take up to 180 Wishes to get Klee from her limited-time banner. I did it in about 27, because I'm a jammy little git.
Anyway, that's not what you're here for — you're here for free Primogems. As is the case with most of its limited-time events to date, Mihoyo has rewarded players for consecutive logins in tandem with the latest character banner. As a result, people who have been logging in every day have been receiving 100 Primogems alongside some other snazzy rewards from Klee. The first four days of this amounted to 400 free Primogems, meaning you got 2.5 Wishes completely free of charge — doing all four daily commissions every day would have netted you another 40+ Primogems per day, and that's not counting finding chests, completing domains, and so on. It's been a good week for people who don't want to spend real money on Genshin Impact's gacha system.
Today was my fifth login and Klee sent me a whopping 200 Primogems — bear in mind that this is enough for just one Wish, but if you have any other Primogems lying around it's a massive boost. Also, don't forget about the 30 Primogems you can earn by completing today's Marvelous Merchandise quest, which shouldn't take more than two or three minutes. Add another 40 from your daily commissions and you're just 50 Primogems off another pack — an easily obtainable number if you're willing to grind, especially if you have any keys for Mondstadt or Liyue shrines to spare.
These 200 free Primogems are the last freebie Mihoyo has announced in honor of the Klee banner. Perhaps we might see more before it changes to the next Genshin Impact banner, but as it stands, this is the final confirmed reward.
