It's that time of the month when Genshin Impact is poised to ravage our wallets and our pockets with a hurricane named Eula. No one seems to be complaining, however, as she's quickly becoming one of the most desired characters in the game, being a tall character with elegant attack moves and a disposition colder than Diluc, who's Mondstadt's self-proclaimed moody drama lover (until Eula arrives).

Anyway, Eula is just around the corner and you're probably here because like us, your mouth is foaming with anticipation; those tens of thousands of Primogems ready to sacrifice their existence for some pixels. So if you really want Eula that bad, then you also have to prepare for her arrival with some welcoming gifts to make her strong and readily playable.

10 Collect The Pale Flame Set

Genshin Impact's developers have already laid out the welcoming mat for Eula as early as the Zhongli re-run. The new domain, Ridge Watch, houses the Pale Flame artifact set, which appears to have been tailor-made for Eula.

The two-piece bonus grants 25% increased Physical DMG while the four-piece bonus grants 18 percent ATK and another 25% Physical DMG bonus under the most optimal conditions. That's quite monstrous for a character that focuses on Physical damage.

9 Collect The Bloodstained Chivalry Set

Of course, maintaining the four-piece bonus of the Pale Flame set might not be for everyone. Besides, most players will just want the additional 25% Physical DMG increase from that. In that regard, the Bloodstained Chivalry set looks more stable.

The two-piece bonus provides a 25% Physical DMG increase. Pair it with the two-piece bonus from Pale Flame and that's a huge permanent boost for Eula. So, head on over to Clear Pool and Mountain Cavern domain for these, unless you already have them.

8 Be On The Lookout For A Physical DMG Goblet

Not just any artifact from those two mentioned above will cut it for Eula. The goblet piece has to have a Physical DMG bonus main stat with Crit DMG and Crit Rate sub-stats. This ensures even more dizzying Physical damage outputs from Eula.

For the other artifacts, the desired main stats and sub-stats are pretty standard for carry DPS characters. The sands piece should have ATK and the circlet should have either Crit Rate or Crit DMG main stats. For the sub-stats, aim for Crit Rate, Crit DMG, or ATK %. Everything else is suboptimal.

7 Upgrade The Snow-Tombed Starsilver

Now, on to the weapons. The three available 5-star claymores (Wolf's Gravestone, Skyward Pride, and Song of Broken Pines) upon Eula's arrival are great. Use whichever is available. For free players or those on a budget (or plain unlucky), then the Snow-Tombed Starsilver will do.

Eula gets the situational bonus from this weapon thanks to her cryo vision and easy cryo application. Moreover, it suits her colors and style well. The math is also out now from theorycrafters: it's the second-best 4-star damage output for Eula.

6 Upgrade Prototype Archaic

As for the most consistent 4-star weapon for Eula that's also the most damaging, look no further than Prototype Archaic, at least according to theory. Do note that the calculations are for the R5 variant of the Prototype Archaic, though that's easy to achieve these days.

The weapon simply suits her direct and physical-focused gameplay. Eula's attack animations have also been proven to be faster than other claymore users so she can activate Prototype Archaic's perk fairly often.

5 Level Up Fischl to at least 70

Fischl and Oz facing the camera in genshin impact

Moving on to Eula's support, the first thing that usually comes to mind is someone like Fischl. She's just perfect since Eula produces cryo applications. Fischl can then turn those into Superconduct which lowers the enemy's physical resistance.

Moreover, Fischl's Oz can cover a large area and therefore apply Superconduct quickly and in a wide range. This leaves the enemies little breathing room against Eula's physical attacks. Hence, leveling Fischl to at least 70 is a good way to give Eula her best support.

4 Level Up Bennett To At Least 70

Genshin Impact Bennett

Every party needs a healer and one can't go wrong with Bennett. If you don't have him already, then get to work in leveling him to at least 70. He's currently the best healer and damage booster in the game.

His Elemental Burst also synergizes well with Fischl's abilities, further increasing Eula's damage output while also ensuring that she gets some swift healing, since she's quite resistant to knock-backs, making her a good target practice for enemies.

3 Level Up Diona To At Least 70

Then again, not everyone likes Bennett (blasphemy!) or has him. Luckily, most players who did the recent event in Genshin Impact probably have Diona right now. She's also a good healer and a consistent shield provider for Eula.

Her shield is strong enough to withstand interruptions and big boss attacks. Moreover, Diona is a cryo character, meaning she can activate the cryo resonance for the team, effectively giving Eula a near-permanent 15% boost to Crit Rate. Again, she should be at least level 70 so that she can withstand Spiral Abyss enemies.

2 Try To Get A C4 Xinyan

Now, if you have Bennett in the party, then choosing Xinyan over Diona as the 4th party member might be better. Not only does she provide pyro resonance but she has a neat level 4 constellation that further boosts Eula's damage.

At C4, Xinyan's Elemental Skill applies a debuff to enemies that lowers their physical damage by 15%. Stacked on top of Eula's buffs as well as Superconduct from Fischl, then that's pretty devastating. Thankfully, getting Xinyan at C4 shouldn't be too hard as she's also sharing a banner with Eula.

1 Collect Her Ascension and Level Up Materials

Finally, don't forget the flowery stuff Eula needs to be viable. She's going to ask for 168 Dandelion Seeds, a ton of Hilichurl masks, Resistance talent level-up books, the drops from the Cryo Hypostases boss, and 18 of Azhdaha's fat horns. That's if you want to get her to level 90.

Of course, you'll also need a library's worth of level-up books, preferably 421 Hero's Wit books. Oh, she'll also rip your in-game wallet a new hole; 2 million Mora for leveling and ascension then another 3 million for triple-crowned talents. She's royalty, so what did you expect?
