It's no secret that the story missions won't last forever in Genshin Impact. Luckily for players though, there is a lot to do in the world while waiting for the next chapter to be revealed. Teyvat, especially in Liyue's case, is brimming with world quests for the Traveler to take on. These quests can reward needed leveling materials, mora, and even primogems to give players a chance at pulling new characters.
Best of all, many of the quests are well put together, adding to both the game's lore and the player's enjoyment. Some quests even involve tricky puzzles that present a challenge to gamers.
11 Books in The Woods
Liyue is a region that is repeatedly stated to have a long history. The people of the region have settled down, only to move years later, leaving behind crumbling villages. In Wuwang Hill though, things are a bit more complicated as a young girl named Little Nine is searching for her book.
The quest will award the player with 20 primogems and only requires the player to wander the nearby forest.
10 Trails in Tianqiu
Trails in Tianqiu can be a tricky quest for an unprepared Traveler. The quest shuts off multiplayer as it is considered world-altering, and instructs the player to complete three different towers. Each tower has a different challenge with one being combat, one being time, and one being a puzzle.
By completing all three towers players will receive three exquisite chests and three luxurious chests.
9 Luhua Landscape
This quest activates when players talk to the artist Vermeer at the ruins atop the Luhua Pools. The artist will give the player two different portraits that they must refer to in order to find the artist's lost supplies. Once found players will then learn how to unlock the ruins' secrets.
Not only do players get 50 primogems for completing this quest, but they will also receive 30,000 mora for their troubles.
8 Old Tastes Die Hard
One of the easiest way to get free primogems is by searching out Mr. Zhu. Mr. Zhu can be found near the Statue of The Seven nearest to the Luhua Pools. All the player needs to do to net 20 free primogems is give the man a Sweet Madame, a simple recipe that only requires fowl and sweet flower.
The player should already have the recipe as it is available from the very beginning of the game and birds can be found in the area.
7 Treasure Lost, Treasure Found
Treasure Lost, Treasure Found is a two-part quest, the begins in the Guili Plains. To start the quest, the player will need to talk to the character Soraya. Soraya will then send them to read different texts around the ruin, before moving to Wangshu Inn for the second part of the quest.
By completing both parts of the quest players will be awarded with 80 primogems, a shrine key, 600 experience, and an Exile Circlet.
6 Nine Pillars of Peace
The Nine Pillars of Peace is a quest that players need to work on over the course of their time in Liyue. Each time the statue of the seven in the region is leveled up, the player will receive a stone of remembrance. Once the player has nine stones, they need to place them inside the pillars at Cuijue Slope.
The pillars will open a dungeon that contains a rare ring that can be sold for 180,000 mora and a five-star artifact.
5 The Tree Who Stands Alone
For players who love spooky stores, The Tree Who Stands Along is a perfect quest. This quest will start after the player picks up a lost note within the deserted Mingyun Village. The player will then need to go on a treasure hunt to learn more about a hidden treasure.
Once the player has completed the task, they will earn 50 primogems and a shrine key for their troubles.
4 Share Not Your Treasures
To begin this quest, the player will need to visit the ruins in Guili Planes and locate the worn letter. All the player needs to do is light a bonfire, defeat some enemies, and then go to the location of the treasure on the notes in order to complete the quest and score a few rewards.
The completion bonus for this short quest is 30 primogems, 30,000 mora, a lucky dog's eagle feather, and four mystic enchantment ore.
3 Big Business
Big Business is another astonishingly easy guest that will take just a few minutes to complete. The quest begins when the player finds Landa who will send the player on a quest to gather lost invoices. All of the invoices are easy to find as they are located around Stone Gate and Dihua Marsh, two connecting areas.
Completing the quest will net the characters 30 primogems and 30,000 mora after talking to Bao'er.
2 The Chi of Gunyun
The Chi of Gunyun is one of the few quests with multiple parts. To start it players will need to speak with Yan'er in the Bishui Plains. This quest will require a lot of traveling as parts of it take place in the Bishui Plains, Qingce Village, and near Wuwang Hill to find the quests fragments.
The reward for completing the quest is 50 primogems and a shrine key.
1 A Little Game
A Little Game is a sweet quest that asks the player to take time out of their day to play hide-and-seek. The game can be started by venturing to Mt. Tianheng and speaking with Childish Jiang, who will ask the player if they want to start the game with them and hide in multiple spots.
Once the player has found Childish Jiang four times they will earn 30 primogems and 30,000 mora.
