Where To Find Jean's Ascension And Talent Materials
Gemstones
Slivers, Fragments, Chunks, and Gemstones can all be received from the Anemo Hypostasis Boss. This boss is found near Stormbearer Mountains, and costs 40 Original Resin to obtain rewards from.
Hurricane Seeds can also be obtained from the Anemo Hypostasis.
Common Drops and Books
Dandelion Seeds can be found around the Mondstadt region, with high concentrations at the Mondstadt gate and in an area north of Sal Terrae and West of Wyrmrest Valley. You will need a lot of Dandelion Seeds, and they only respawn every 48 hours, so be sure to gather them as often as you can.
Teachings, Guides, and Philosophies of Resistance can be found in the Forsaken Rift Domain on Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday. Teachings can be combined into Guides, and Guides into Philosophies, at an alchemy station.
Damaged, Stained, and Ominous Masks can be obtained from Hilichurls. Hilichurls can be found all around the map, so try exploring anywhere if you need more Hilichurl Masks.
Masks can also be combined into higher rarity versions at an alchemy station.
Mora Cost
To ascend Jean all the way and fully upgrade her talents, you will need roughly seven million Mora. Mora can be obtained from almost anything in the game, but is gained most efficiently from the Ley Line Outcrop: Blossom of Wealth.
Ley lines can be found all around the map, and cost 20 Original Resin to open.
Experience And Rare Items
To upgrade Jean to level 90, you'll need roughly

If you spend a lot of time killing monsters for experience, you will need fewer books overall, but note that the experience you gain from killing monsters is very small. Using Experience books is much more efficient, as they can be gained in abundance from events, quests, and the Ley Line Outcrop: Blossom of Revelation.
Dvalin's Plume has a chance to drop from the Trounce Domain Stormterror Challenge. Rewards can only be gained from this challenge once a week, and only from level four and above. Be sure to challenge this domain every week to fully upgrade Jean.
Finally, every character in Genshin Impact needs three Crowns of Insight for the last level of their talent upgrade. These rare items can only be obtained from time-limited events. These are frequent enough, and usually happen when a new update comes out. Keep an eye out for the latest events to get more Crowns of Insight.
Additionally, one Crown of Insight can be obtained when you upgrade the Frostbearing Tree to level 11. This is a one-time reward, so you'll still have to complete events to get the other Crowns of Insight you need.
