Kuki Shinobu is the latest edition to the list of playable characters in Genshin Impact. She is the Deputy Leader of the infamous Arataki Gang. She finished her graduation in Liyue where she also met Yanfei as one of her substitute teachers. She is essentially the mom of the Arataki Members who cleans up their mess behind them and helps them whenever they are arrested — which happens often.

As for her reason to be with a gang of mischief where she stands out, Kuki says that she feels free with them. She is a surprisingly flexible and versatile character who can fit into multiple roles. As such, there are quite a few team compositions Shinobu can shine in.

Shockingly Thunderous

Genshin Impact Mono Electro Team

The first shout goes to the mono-electro team consisting of Raiden Shogun, Yae Miko, Beidou, and Kuki Shinobu. This team is self-sufficient and allows Kuki to fit into a support role.

The main purpose of Shinobu in this team is to provide turret damage while she heals everyone in the party whenever they take damage. This composition is even better if you have access to Beidou's Constellation six as it reduces the enemy's Electro Resistance during her Elemental Burst.

For the rotation of this team, you'd want to start with Kuki's Elemental Skill and then instantly switch off to Yae Miko, and place all three of her turrets. It is important to switch fast so that Kuki's skill doesn't heal her. Next, use Raiden's and Beidou's Elemental Skill which should give you enough energy to have burst on all the characters. Then, unleash your wrath on the enemy by using Beidou's Burst followed by Kuki's Elemental Skill and Burst. Use Yae Miko's burst next and finish it off with Raiden.

Once you start basic attacking during Raiden Shogun's burst, you will gain all the energy back on the other characters.

Unlimited Crowd Control

Genshin Impact Electro-charged team

Electro-Charged is one of the reactions in Genshin Impact that allows you to deal ridiculous damage to big enemies while crowd controlling the smaller ones. This happens when Hydro meets Electro and that's what this team is about. Kamisato Ayato and Xingqiu are arguably the best characters for Hydro application in the game.

The idea behind this team is to group enemies up with Venti while using Xingqiu's and Kuki's Elemental Skill to deal off-field Turret damage with Ayato as main DPS. The strongest trait of this team is how fast the rotations are. With enough Energy Recharge on Venti, you can dish out tons of damage without even giving the enemy a chance to move.

On a side note, Ayato can be substituted with Tartaglia in this team, while Venti can be Substituted with Sucrose. Electro-charged has a special effect where the lightning is conducted amongst every enemy that is affected by Hydro, which makes this team one of the most pleasing to use due to the sheer amount of damage you will see.

Overloaded Power

Genshin Impact Overload Team

Overload is another reaction in Genshin Impact that takes place when Pyro meets Electro. You can imagine the destruction caused when the two most notorious elements come together. In some instances, Overload can backfire if it is applied to your character knocking you up and making you vulnerable to incoming attacks. This is the reason for Zhong Li's existence in this team, apart from the Resistance shred provided by his Shield.

The only disadvantage with this team is that Diluc isn't the greatest DPS in the game. Unfortunately, Hu Tao, who is the greatest DPS, can't be used with Kuki because she shines on low HP while Kuki will end up healing her reducing her damage significantly.

You can consider replacing Diluc with Yoimiya or Yanfei but keep in mind that the range of Kuki's Elemental Skill is extremely short, which can force you to waste a lot of time dashing towards the enemy on these characters. Hence, Diluc serves as the most efficient Pyro DPS for this Overload team.

Judgment From Above

Genshin Impact Xiao Team

Our small, edgy, emo boy definitely deserves his own team composition with Kuki Shinobu after what happened in the Perilous Trail quest. Xiao constantly loses HP during his burst while he also deletes the enemy's health rapidly. Kuki solves this problem by providing him with heals from her Elemental Skill while also dealing a ton of off-field damage to the surrounding enemies.

Xiangling and Kuki can cause Overload, which can cause the enemies to spread apart, and that's where Venti comes in. Our Tone-Deaf Bard's Elemental Burst is still one of the best abilities to group enemies together and further prevent them from spreading out. It is recommended to use the Favonius Warbow on Venti in this team composition since it can help you gain Elemental Particles for Kuki and Xiangling as well.

All-In-One Team

Genshin Impact F2P Team

While the five-star characters in Genshin Impact provide a great deal of variety and fun gameplay, the four-star characters are no less. In fact, some of the best Supports in the game are four-star characters like Bennett, Xingqiu, Sucrose, Xiangling, and now Kuki Shinobu. This team focuses on almost all the reactions possible in Genshin, and it's also the perfect team for free-to-play or low-spending players.

It consists of four support characters that can come together to deal surprising amounts of damage. Having the first Constellation for Sucrose makes this team even better. Your aim with it is to Swirl as many elements as you can while using the Viridescent Venerer on Sucrose. This will decrease the enemy's resistance to these elements while you constantly trigger Vaporize, Electro-Charged, and Superconduct.
