One of Genshin Impact's first event of version 1.3 is called Five Flushes of Fortune. Instead of focusing on simple combat like daily requests or exchanging items like with Marvelous Merchandise, players are charged with taking pictures. Each day during the event a specific color and item will be unveiled for players to take pictures of.

Every time the player takes a picture, a colored photograph will be given to them. There are five colors and when the player has one of each, they can exchange them for a treasure trove containing primogems and other goodies that will help with character building.

Grab Your Kamera

Ji Tong

The event requires the use of a special key item rather than the screenshot camera that many players are already familiar with. To get the Kamera, players must travel to Liyue Harbor and speak with the character Ji Tong. He will give any player Adventure Rank 20 and above the tool.

Kamera in inventory

The kamera will automatically be added to the gadget section of your inventory. To equip the item go to the gadgets menu like shown above, hover over it, and then hit select.

Afterward, The camera should show up in the same place on your UI as in the picture below.

How To Use Your Camera

Kamera Equipped

The camera should show up in the same place on your UI as in the picture above (or at the bottom of the screen on mobile). Once the kamera has been successfully equipped, you can begin taking pictures. This is another place where things can get a bit confusing though as it is a departure from how you normally take your in-game photos.

First, you need to check out the daily banner to see which color and subject is currently being featured for the event. This will change every day at the same time the dailies reset. For example; day one was red a red item and silk flower bushes worked for the shoot. Day two, however, switched things up by using blue creatures, which challenged the player with photographing cryo enemies.

Once you have identified and found an item that fits the events description, pull out the kamera using the buttons beside its icon, this will vary by your platform. The screen will then look like this:

The kamera does not have a shutter button and will automatically take pictures for you. To tell if your kamera is about to take a picture lookout for a large circle around the photograph subject and distortion such as static occurring on screen. This is what it will look like when you have successfully captured a photo:

A colored photo will be added to your inventory, and you can check the event section in your menu to see what colors you are missing. Keep in mind that the kamera will not work if you are in combat. You also will need to use the zoom feature to adjust shots you are taking from a distance for the blue circle to show up. The Kamera is programmed not to photograph anything other than qualifying items and enemies. In addition, only ten photos can be taken by the player per day.
